Hi, BF. I have just prayed for Amber and her mom. I wanted you to know that I do care about your request. It can be overwhelming at times getting on this site. Don't think that no one cares. It just takes some time to look over everything and respond. Some people don't feel comfortable responding for one reason or another. Some of my friends don't feel that they are good with written communication, but they are wonderful with praying. I am looking at 2 Corinthians Ch.1 , verses 3-14, that remind us to use the comfort we find in Christ to comfort others. At my church right now, 2 beloved friends have cancer. One is an older lady, the mother of a friend of mine and her name is Mrs. Julia Castello. She was singing "Beulah Land" with the preacher the other day and her daughters sang along too. That's faith. The other is a beautiful singer and the wife of our Singles' Minister, Amy Crowe;only about 30 years old. She is going through her experience with such grace. She has gone through this before. She had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. Now the cancer is back and in her liver and bones. The church has anointed her with oil and laid hands on her. We are praying and encourging her and her husband, Calvin. They are such sweet, outgoing, on-fire people. They have walked a steady walk for the Lord. They have 4 young boys. That's what makes it even more sad. Last Sunday night, our pastor asked her to get up and sing if she could. She gladly did. She powerfully sang "His Eye Is On the Sparrow". She came down off of the stage and was pointing her finger toward heaven in typical "Amy" style with a smile on her face. She was saying,"Church, I know He watches me!" It was a tear-jerker! BUT GOD is all I can say. She knows if God heals her it's great, but if He doesn't it is still well with her soul. What a testimony!
