When I worked in a care home and was pregnant with my son, I hadn't worked there long, I had very bad indigestion and the old wise Irish nurse told me the only way to get rid of it was to sit on a bucket of hot water.
Like an idiot, I proceed to the cleaning room brought back a bucket and started to fill it with hot water from the geezer. "put some cold in it" she said with a deadpan face.
If it wasn't for hearing the other carers chuckling I would have have had a bright red bottom by now.

Years ago my mom and I visited my uncle Leo in Phoenix Arizona. He had a truck that had a small back seat. So I would sit in the back seat but it was really hard for me to get out of there.
So one time my mom said she would sit back there. We came home in the late evening after sightseeing. And mom couldn't get out of the truck! We all were laughing uncontrollably! And then my uncle said he wasn't going to call the fire department. That made us all laugh even harder!
We thought we were going to wake up the neighbors so tried to stifle our laughter which made us laugh more.
Finally mom managed somehow to get out of that truck. Of course, I went back to sitting back there after that experience.
