Once released upon the earth they spread by their own natures and stupid things we do.

So they are a curse from God, as it is God because of sin who cursed man to die.
We humans care very much for the exterior temporal life. God is more concerned with the inner life. The test of our faith will make the outside things difficult at times. But the secret is to rejoice in the Lord through the trials. When we do that we need less trials.

Obviously, to you, they are going to be whatever you choose to decide they are. But the answer to your question was plainly stated by CoreIssue in post #2.
They are paret of the curse that followed the rejection of God by Adam.
Death as Adam was told was a direct consquence of breaking Gods clear command.
