No the dumbest thing is to listen to this unbiblical nonsence.
2 Thessalonians 3:9-11 (NIV)
9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help,A)'> but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate.B)'> 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.
Elsewhere Paul gave instructions to work, earn money 'so one has the means to share with those in need.'
No where does the bible teach that Christians are to sit back and let others work.
It is full of illistrations from the work place all stressing the need to 'WORK'.
Yes we are not to worry and stress about our needs.
