ACCEPTANCE Part 6Acceptance: is within the longsuffering and forbearance of God that leads us to repentance (Rom 2:4); For godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation – however, worldly sorrow (or regret) leads to death (2Cor 7:10).This is why God sends us a man who has been cast down by men, so that they can be comforted by writing letters that make believers “SORRY”, and these don’t have to repent because this sorrow is just for a season (if they don’t rebel against, or reject these letters), and all of this is so that they can rejoice with you “AFTER” your sorrow (2Cor 7:8-9).In godly sorrow the following things are worked into us By God:1) An earnest desire to have all these things explained, 2) An indignation against “our will”, 3) We can take revenge against “our will”, 4) A carefulness to be asking God to work in us, and 5) A healthy zeal to help others. WHEN WE HAVE THESE FRUITS, WE ARE APPROVED OF GOD, AND CLEAR IN THE MATTER OF REPENTANCE (2 Cor 7:11).We need God to send us someone to make us ready (2Cor 9:3), by ministering to us within letters (that can expound the word of God more perfectly see Acts 18:26) (2Cor 9:1); Without the reception of this eloquent man, who can diligently instruct us, we cannot be much helped through grace (Acts 18:24-27).We need to be under this kind of instruction for at least 18 months (Acts 18:11); And only God takes His people out from among the people to do THIS (Acts 15:11, 18:11); Without the reception of the minister whom God sends unto us, we CANNOT receive Jesus (Lk 10:16, Mk 9:37); And you will “believe” that THIS IS A STRANGE NEW DOCTRINE (Acts 17:20-19) because you haven’t learned “HOW” to reason these things out within the scriptures (Acts 17:2).HAS THE LORD OPENED YOUR HEART SO THAT YOU CAN ATTEND TO THESE THINGS?? (Acts 16:14)If so, then you can attain the fear of the Lord which gives hatred toward the evil in all of its pride that “believes” YOUR OWN WAY, WILL, AND WORK” IS GOOD (Prov 8:13-14).Can you receive this instruction? (Prov 8:10) If so, then you can have understanding (8:9); The holy is the understanding (Prov 9:10); This is why God calls us to “be holy, as I am holy” (1Pet 1:15); Those who trust in “themselves” ARE cursed, AND these depart from the LORD, thus says the LORD (Jer 17:5).Rather, have hope in the Lord, so that you can be blessed (Jer 17:7); Those who have had their mind transformed (by the word of God) can “PROVE” what is the acceptable, and perfect will of God (Rom 12:2); And no one can do the will of God without the knowledge of the doctrine of God in Christ (Jn 7:17).DO YOU KNOW THIS DOCTRINE?In order for us to have obedience from our hearts, WE MUST BE TAUGHT THIS DOCTRINE (Rom 6:17); WITHOUT WHICH GOD SENDS US A POWERFUL DELUSION SO THAT WE BELIEVE A LIE RATHER THAN THIS TRUTH, FOR OUR SALVATION (2Thess 2:11-10).THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER IS ALL ABOUT HOW WE HEAR THE WORD OF GOD, NOT JUST THE GOSPEL! (Lk 8:11)Those on the “WAYSIDE GROUND” hear these words and the devil comes in and immediately takes these words away so that people can’t believe and be saved (Lk 8:12).Those on the “ROCK” are those who hear these words with joy, but because they have no root (this truth richly dwelling within them) they can only believe for awhile, because when they experience temptation they fall away (Lk 8:13).Those on “THORNS” are they which hear these words, but they are choked out of them by the “cares and pleasures” of this life and they cannot bring forth the perfected fruit (Lk 8:14).Those on the “GOOD GROUND” are they which are honest, having heard these words keep them (through disclosure, and meditation) so that they would have (God given) patience to learn how to bring forth (perfected) fruit (Lk 8:15).
