I heard John Piper last night on the radio, he gave this as a meaning of God's glory.

He said, "God's glory is the manifestation of the beauty of His holiness."

I like his way with words! This has been running through my mind since!

Lovely thought. I often think of the words of the hymn, 'O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness'.

Your post also reminded me of a flash, a glimpse of God's glory many years ago. It was like I actually saw it. Two mountain peaks close together and the light, the glory of God passing behind them. A fraction of a second only, blink and you'll miss it. Might not sound like much but at the time it was a wonderful experience and I still remember it.
