a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Rom 3:21-28 -- NKJV
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,
30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

The children of God are clothed by God’s righteousness. They claim none of their own because they know they are sinful in the flesh.

Now some will say I teach a false gospel but these are the words from the scriptures. A person who places their faith in their works is certainly not placing it in God.

Amen...Judaism has been made obsolete. There is no need to become a Jew in order to be a Christian. We are not to be under the law...but under grace.

Of course, Romans 8:7 will tell you that if you are spiritually-minded, you are subject to the law of God within your mind.

And also, Romans 8:4 would tell us that if we walk according to the Spirit rather than the flesh, the righteousness of the law will be fulfilled in us.

Hebrews 8:8-10 and Hebrews 10:16 will reveal that the law is written on the hearts and minds of all those who are under the New Covenant.

This is not to say that we are justified by the law.

We are justified by faith in Christ; who then gives unto us His Holy Spirit through that faith (Galatians 3:14), and the love of the Lord through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). This love is the fulfilling of the law (Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6). It is not in word or in tongue only, but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:17-18).

So then, by the law is the knowledge of sin: it will show you that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour. If you find that you are violating any law of the holy scriptures, know that the law is telling you that you are not saved; unless His Spirit officially bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God (Romans 8:16).

Our justification comes through faith in Christ; we are forgiven of past, present, and future sin because of what Christ has done for us.

Through that same sacrifice, we are made into new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17 (kjv)).

2Co 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

As new creatures, we cannot sin (1 John 3:9 (kjv)); whatever you want to interpret that to mean. Just consider that 2 Corinthians 3:12 (kjv) and 2 Peter 1:20 have a bearing on your interpretation.

1Jo 3:9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2Co 3:12, Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

I suppose that it is expedient that I bring up again my contention that when people hear a verse in the kjv and then say in their hearts, "I don't like that; what does it say in this other translation?" that they are in effect heaping up for themselves teachers in the translators of that other version, to tell them what their itching ears want to hear. This was prophesied in 2 Timothy 4:1-4.

2Ti 4:1, I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2Ti 4:2, Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2Ti 4:3, For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4, And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Christians need to asking themselves several questions when they discover that God justifies -- declares righteous -- vile sinners who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. The righteousness of God and Christ are imputed to us PURELY BY GOD'S GRACE, and that in itself is amazing because it is unmerited, unearned, and undeserved.

1. No mortal man can see God until and unless he has been fully perfected (body, soul, and spirit). We must be as perfect as God and Christ (Mt 5:48) in order to enter Heaven and literally see them.

2. Justification is the first step towards perfection and glorification is the last step (Rom 8:29,30). In between Christians must be sanctified by the grace of the God and the power of the Spirit ( 1 Peter 1:2).

3. But even so, without the washing of the soul and spirit with the blood of Christ, the contamination of sin and guilt would remain. Therefore the blood of Christ must be applied to every soul (Rev 1:5,6).

4. But even so, without the New Birth, no man can see nor enter into the Kingdom of God (as Christ said very clearly). Therefore the Holy Spirit must bring about the New Birth supernaturally (John 3:3-12).

5. But even so, the New Birth requires that God will write His laws in our hearts and minds under the New Covenant (Heb 8:10). Which means that the Ten Commandments are integral to the Law of Christ, and Christians are required to be obedient to the Law of Christ (which is the Law of Love).

6. Therefore God says that while we wait to be transformed and perfected supernaturally at the Resurrection/Rapture, we must purify ourselves by separating ourselves from the world the flesh, and the devil (1 John 3:1-3 and many other Scriptures).

Therefore the blood of Christ must be applied to every soul (Rev 1:5,6).

Also 1 Peter 1:22.

and Christians are required to be obedient to the Law of Christ

It is not a requirement but a privilege. He has shed abroad His love in our hearts through the Holy Ghost; and this love is the fulfillment of the righteousness of the law within us. It is a supernatural work of the Holy Ghost within us that is not accomplished because it is required of us; rather it is accomplished because we have received the Holy Ghost by faith.

Before we received the Holy Ghost it was required of us and we also could not live up to the requirement.

Now that we have the Holy Ghost, it is not required of us and we also do live up to the desire that God has for us to live according to His love in our lives.

Why do I say that it is not required of the believer?

Because the believer is not under the law (Romans 6:14), is dead to the law (Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19), and is also delivered from the law (Romans 7:6). See also Ephesians 2:15-16, Colossians 2:14, and Hebrews 7:18.
