I am on a 14 day South Pacific cruise. I see that the SDA have done much work here. The word of God is good... No complaints. Wish I could upload pictures... Finicky server wont let me do it!

I passed what looked like a tent revival on one of the islands just north of Tahiti... Now that would have been fun! The Islanders are naturally sweet people. I can only imagine what it would be with a good blessing from the Holy Spirit!

The whole trip has been divine. Food has been great. They give everything fancy names.Yesterday I got shiska-bobs on the side of a large plate and put all kind of salad in between. They take french toast and mix it with a variety of tropical things (like coconut) making them vary similar to donuts in taste. The cruise has been a dream. Lovin it! Every time I go somewhere and forget my camera I regret it. I was eating on the end of the ship and what do you know a rainbow just appears on the ocean. I love the Southern Cross constellation. Puts me in mind of the old Crosby, Stills & Nash song - The Southern Cross....

Think about
Think about how many times I have fallen
Spirits are using me larger voices callin'
What Heaven brought you and me cannot be forgotten

When you see the Southern Cross for the first time
You understand now why you came this way
'Cause the truth you might be runnin' from is so small
But it's as big as the promise, the promise of a comin' day

I love to just go outside and gaze at the Southern Cross and all the constellations shining brightly in our hemisphere during the summer season. It is just awe inspiring. Hope you get to see Aussie and NZ in your travels. :)

I get up early every morning so I can gaze at the Southern Cross and think of what the Lord had done for me!
Routines....

1. 4 AM - Get up to see the Southern Cross - The great crucifix in the sky!
2. 5 AM - Listen to some English guy lecture as to the intellectual value of the surroundings.
3. 6 AM - Breakfast
4. 7 AM - Sight seeing from atop the ship. There was a great view on arriving in Bora Bora this AM.
5. 8 AM - Some island escursion if in port
6. 12 PM - Normally go to the grill for a hamburger, grilled chicken burger, fries, and a coke.
7. 1 PM - Will explore ashore.
8. 4 PM - Time for the pool, hot tub, and some time in the sun.
9. 6 PM - Dinner
10. 7 PM - Entertainment. Love it when they have the islanders in for song and dance.

I am normally done it by 8 PM. This Princess cruise has been awesome! Loving it and having a great time! The creators love and warmth is in the air!

Sounds like a lot of fun. Other than our own country, NZders fave place to go on holiday in the South Pacific, is the Cook Islands. [RaroTonga]. I hope you get to experience them islands also.

Hey, is the Princess cruise the line with the giant inflatable orca on top ?

If it is, do you think you could ask the captain if I could have it ?

I've always wanted one.

I believe that the churches came down in time...

1. Ephesus - Apostolic
2. Smyrna - Martyr
3. Pergamos - Orthodox
4. Thyatira - Catholic
5. Sardis - Protestant
6. Philadelphia - Wesleyan
7. Laodicean - Word of Faith / Charismatic

So there is a glory in each church. Most people cleave to the church they feel the closest as 'right' or to the 'truth.' But I think they all have their glory and their faults as well. The spirit of Jezebel is to dominate and to control. I thankfully feel that this spirit has left the medieval church for different ground, Islam for example. I also do not believe that we can win folk to our particular denomination until they can sense the reason other than the words we try to speak. My favorite church on this trip hands down has been the Catholic Church. It is the only church that leaves its doors open all day. The islanders will come by and bow at the door and do their little Catholic hand gesture. It is annoying to me that the non-Catholic churches have their churches locked during the day time.

Strong meat belongeth to them that are full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. - Hebrews 5:14

Which things we speak, not in the words in which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. - 1 Cor 2:13

As in the churches, I try to sense the spiritual things spiritual things in my surroundings while going on such a trip. It is a neat thing to have the ladies speak to me with a deep spiritual sense as well as the gestures. When they say thank you, or Mauruuru, it is long and drawn out, with a smile, and there is a joy as they speak. There is little to mark the change of the year here. It is as though the people dwell in the same (good) spiritual state year round. I would imagine that some of them do not know how old they are. There is a youthfulness in all, both young and old, That delights my soul.

It also seems that people have little concept of things like money. The people I purchased from give me confused looks while changing currency. I could easily get $50 in change for $20 if I were that dis-honest. Sometimes I will buy something like a post card and receive a blank look on why I delight in such a thing. They love their pearls and advertise them with great delight.

The people take great delight in their customs. They love to dance, make merry, and show a great deal of love and joy throughout their day. It seems that they take great delight in all, both young and old. So I count them very rich.

It has been a great trip and I give it two thumbs up!

I was gone two weeks and it only seems like two days. What a great vacation! My heart wishes I could be a missionary in those parts. I have media on the way, will take some time to decipher all those pictures and videos I took.

Angelina, would love to visit the Cook Islands one day. Would love to visit an area where a Pentecostal revival is going on where I can participate!

Now I am back from the trip I am going through photos. The Catholic church was the only church that left its doors open for the public.

Huahine was my favorite island. Here is some video. Wish I had my video camera with me while my head was hanging out the tour bus window.
