Two days ago, paddle boarders had a video of a Hammerhead Shark following them to shore. Yesterday a large hammerhead sent those in the water scurrying to shore. The shark was chasing small fish or rays. That dorsal fin is distinctive and easy to recognize. Sharks are active right now, warm waters and fish moving to breeding areas. Five attacks in NY waters. A week ago rip tides, this week teeth.
