Yesterday was Father's Day in the USA, and many other countries also celebrate Father's Day of the third Sunday of June, but in other countries of the world, Father's Day occurs on other Sundays/days of the year. Father's Day - Wikipedia.
It is good to honour fathers and mothers on the relevant declared day, but the reality is that the dominate driving force for celebrating Father's Day and Mother's Day are the commerce interests to make money than it has to do with actually honouring our parents.
Honouring our parents is not just a one day of the year event, we truly should be honouring our parents every day, even after they have passed away.
How often do we pray the Blessing in the pic in the OP over our parents?
