@April_Rose

I have pointed out to you that you are living in the Northern hemisphere, and yes, I know that you live in the latitudes where the winters can get very cold in the northern hemisphere, but the opposite is true in the Southern Hemisphere were it is presently summer time where I live and the country side in my state has had very little rain for a number of years and we are predominately in a drought.

I would love it if at present I could enjoy the winter season all year round, but the way that God implemented the season etc. on the fourth time period of the Creation story means that the seasons are not the same all over the earth.

In your part of the world people die from hypothermia because of the cold weather of winter that you are experiencing at this present time, whereas in my part of the earth people die from dehydration because of the high temperatures and humidity they experience during our Summer season at this present time.

What you are failing to realise is that the whole earth is not in sync with the weather that you are experiencing and your wishing everybody a "happy Winter," no matter where we are living on this planet, is totally insensitive for those who live in a place where our seasons are out of sync with yours.

Your intent may have been will placed but it was also insensitive to at least half of the population of the world.

@Pearl Hard to get one's mind around the idea of Christmas Day on the beach, right? but this is the norm for some in Australia...

Of course, years ago - and maybe still, IDK - there was the custom of ppl going on a Christmas Day swim in the Serpentine, in Hyde Park, wasn't there? :)

You know, you're probably right. Snowflakes, Karen's. Of course the Cancel Culture, which is not new because all fascist, communist, regimes erased prior histories before install.
What a world.
Normally this would seem odd. But, it is 2020.

How could a star have offended somebody though?

Winter solstice. With everything going on I didn't even pay attention to the date. Happy Solstice everyone. :)

Here's a happy baby goat to make you smile. Cute goat

I wonder who's missing a kid.

When intolerant people are given opportunity to oppress others by invoking hurt feelings, never underestimate what said people will claim offends them. Their point isn't to not be offended. Their point is to offend by stripping others of their right to enjoy what those others believe should not exist.

LOL!
