I was asked one time why I didn't talk much about Moses and Abraham, and all the bigs and the Old Testiment Prophets. I can understand a question like that, I get it. But what I can't really do when I'm trying to bring out a message is talk about something and someone that is not going to be relevant to what an individual in this world needs to know.
I say that with due respect for humanity in general, but they are not saviors. They didn't die for you or me, they didn't give every ounce of blood. The blood that was beat from the body of Jesus, He alone is my savior, He alone is the message. He alone does not need Old or New Testiment characters to be who He is. He is the Son of the living God and stands alone in the blessed scriptures that paint the most beautiful and vivid picture of Who and What He alone is to humanity.
He alone is great and greatly to be praised. He alone is God in the flesh. He captained my salvation He gives the Rose's of Sharon. There is non to compare in or out of scripture. He alone on a hill far away on a old rugged cross where the dearest and best, for a world of lost sinners was slain.
