Names Donnie. Im 46 and recently (do to some legal trouble) turned to Jesus Christ. My dear wife of 24 years has tried unsuccessfully for more than two decades to convert me. I now know I have salvation and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was Baptized on January 9th and am devouring the Bible along with other study materials at a rapid pace. We have been attending church since December 26th and have not missed a Wednesday or Sunday since. We have been graciously accepted by all in the church. Reading and studying the Word of our Lord has taken place of evening television and I even wake up 30 minutes early to work my way through the Old Testament. It's all we talk about. We have even switched to K-LOVE radio from fairly hard rock and love it! I've been looking for a board such as this and finally found you guys. I hope to learn from you all.God Bless You,Donnie

Welcome, Donnie. Glad you found the Lord. He is truly good, isn't he?We talk about a lot of stuff here. Some of it is simple, other things are more complex, but bear with us. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff you can pick up on and learn. (And BTW, your wife must be a great woman---- a rare treat these days, and you are indeed fortunate. I was married 22 years myself and I can say the same about my wife)

It is fantastic. Why did I never do this sooner? And yes, my wife is very excited. We have always had a great marrige but it is so much greater now. My eyes have been opened to a wonderful thing. Donnie
