My name is Dan Doughty, and I have just recently taken over as new ownership of this site from Rex and Brent about 2-2.5 weeks ago.

I would just like to say that I am extremely excited to be part of this great forum and hope I can be a valuable contribution to the site and to all of you over time.

A little about me... I'm based in Temecula, CA, and married with 3 kids. I have a history of ministry, having worked on a college campus for a number of years with a college church ministry where I had the privilege to see many college-aged students become Christians and lead Bible studies. Now, my family and I attend a local church here in Temecula.

I'm looking forward to meeting everybody and seeing how I can be helpful. Really excited to learn how things are being done here and how I can best serve the community!

They have provided me with a list of improvements requested that I intend to take a look at and try to implement as quickly as I can. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can help all of you with the site if needed.

Temecula is beautiful in the springtime. I imagine it's hot, hot, hot there now! Last I was in Temecula was over ten years ago. My wife and I went to Pechanga Casino to see The B-52's in concert. Fun times.

Hoping that your advert policy isn't too intrusive. One of the reasons I joined here was fleeing a large Christian forum where they began to bomb us with ads. rane?

Want to do my best to have a presence on the forum and not be hidden or inactive. As time goes on, I plan to tweak ads and try to do the best I can to balance it out and filter out ads that shouldn't be on a Christian site.

G'day Dan, thanks for the intro. I do have an issue though. Within the last week this site has been flooded with advertising....it's relentless. The shine of ChristianityBoard, for me in any case, is fading because of this.

I’ve been on here for years ….it used to be the best of any Christian forums..we here used to feel like a community ( about five years ago or so…) then “to me,” ( maybe not to others ) the site lost its ‘warmth ‘…already it is feeling warmer .

God has never been interested in numbers of people …He told David not to number /county the people ….God is interested in quality , not quantity….and so am I .
