"Many here don't even believe that Jesus engaged in "casual conversation" let alone fun & laughs". I find it difficult to understand how anyone could come to that conclusion. Surely any written stories about Jesus that have survived c. 2000 years would likely be the most important (and, by implication, the most serious) stories? Just because the frivolity went undocumented, does not mean it did not exist. The stories written in the Bible must be selective - otherwise we would have details of every moment of Jesus's life, wouldn't we? Does the New Testament contain the details from every moment of every day of Jesus's life or does it contain stories that the authors felt best reflected the truth of Jesus's character as they saw it? I know which of the two I think is more probable.
