    Hi Everyone,

My name is Ed J and I live in middle America. I enjoy "bible study" with others very much.
I have found that no matter how different others views are we can learn something from them.
I hope my stay here will be a blessing to all here as well as me! I study exclusively from the AKJV Bible.
But my research extends into the Hebrew Masoretic Texts and also the Greek texts for clarification on may matters.

............I have learned much in my many years of study for example:

    1) Italicized words in the AKJV bible are absent from the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.
    2) All personal pronouns (He, She, Him, Her, His & it) do originate form ONE single Greek word:
....[αὐτός] (autos) ow-tos'! Which one that it used is strictly based on the translators discretion.
    3) Neither the Hebrew Masoretic Texts nor the Greek language altogether have a word for "OF".

There is much more I wish to share with you, but I would also like to hear form all of you as well.

    God bless
    Ed J

    Hi Everyone,

In written grammar there is what is called the article.
In the English we have a total of Three articles; both the
definite and the indefinite. The word THE is the definite article.
The definite article is used to define something or someone that is
definite. A and AN are both indefinite articles being less specific. There
is only one article in Hebrew
[ה], it is definite and pronounced Hä and Hey.
It's used twice in GOD’s Holy Name יהוה pronounced YÄ-hä-vā and spelled YHVH
in English. There's at least 12 different articles in Greek; and all of them are definite.
The determining factor for which one that is used is based upon whether the case is Dative,
Nominative, Genitive, Vocative, or Accusative. Some of the Greek articles are ο, τον, του, and τω.

Conclusion: Each and every time "indefinite articles" is used in the Scriptures, it is ALWAYS used at
    the translators discretion
; nothing to build doctrine on! (Isaiah 55:8-9) And in like manor ALL personal
    pronouns
(He, She, Him, Her, His & it) ALL originate FROM ONE GREEK WORD: [αὐτός] (autos) ow-tos'!

There is much more I will be sharing with you here, but I would also like to hear form all of you as well!

    God bless

Welcome to the community Ed! We have a number of users that study with the KJV (or AKJV). It never hurts to go back to the original languages because they could communicate so many more meanings than our own, even without some of the caveats we are used to seeing!

Look forward to hearing more from you.

    Hi Everyone,

I will be starting a thread called...

Title: "GOD's existence" HAS NOW BEEN PROVEN ! ! !
God has indeed encoded his existence into the AKJV Bible! (Description of thread)

Where do you suggest it should go?

Martin, he did actually start the thread, but we had a little hiccup. He should be restarting it shortly, I believe.

    Thanks Hammer.

I am not a "bible numbers guy" but I allow for the possibility there is some merit to (some) of it.

I came to that conclusion after profoundly accurate information landed on my desk in that regard. It stands up to all scrutiny.

When able, I will share it on your forum. Today is not the day.

On a personal note , one of my hobbies is hunting for and collecting Canadian Indian "Hammerstones" I have a small collection and every time I find one I think of how hard it must have been for them to survive the harsh Canadian winters with a few stone tools. I know I could not do it , every time I think I am pretty tough , I am humbled.

I like the name you have chosen.

May you have a kind and wonderful day.

    Thanks.

    Hi Martian,

    The thread is located here...

    http://www.christian...0456#entry90456

I have found that it is difficult to Post back to back Posts on this forum.
Those Posts in the new thread were meant to be four separate Posts.
I hope the way I have done it is acceptable.

    God bless

    Hi ChristianityBoard,

When I joined this forum way back, I did not know links to websites were not allowed. Because of this I had received two warnings and I have not posted since.

I have documented the proof of God's existence and would like to share this information with the members of your forum.

Therefore I humbly ask that you remove the two warnings so that I may start afresh.

Warnings shouldn't prevent someone from posting. There were people still able to post with 4 warnings. Only you and the mods/admins can see the warnings. We generally disregard them when they are old.

I don't see an option to remove warnings, maybe the administration has more control? I have no idea.

    Hi Iforrest,

If you don't know how to remove them, then I'll re-register as "Ed Jay" - and we can all disregard them - Deal?

    Hey Ed,

I know this is very late, I just saw this original post. Just for clarification...

While it is somewhat true that these pronouns originate from autos, it is not one word, nor is it strictly based on the translators discretion. The # and gender of these pronouns are determined by the endings. Here is an example:

αὐτοῦ- The ou at the end of this word tells us it is 3rd person, singular, masculine.

αὐτῶν- The ending of this word tells us it is 3rd person, plural, masculine.

The same is true for endings that tell us feminine gender or even endings that imply the word "of." I just write this to say that the translators are not just spitballing it. The Greek language is very specific...even more so than English. You may have learned this by now as I know this original post is very old. I just wanted to clarify.
