Is the true God that created the heavens and earth and all things one or three?
How about "three in one"? Obviously you are either a Jehovah's Witness or an Anti-Trinitarian. But you should have learned how to use paragraphs.
Which of the persons of God is man in the image of? This idea of man’s is simply incorrect and nonsensical! It can only split one God into several Gods.
The triune Godhead is not merely man's idea. The word Elohim, which was been translated as "God" in the Old Testament is itself a uniplural word. It shows plurality within the Godhead. Hence "let us make an in our image and in our likeness".
And it was not until much later that Moses wrote the Bible, so how could he have possibly known what it was that God in heaven spoke? He had not an inkling of how God created the world.
Have you never heard of the divine inspiration of the Bible? It is God (the Holy Spirit) who gave Moses the complete revelation of creation. Those are the words of God written down by Moses. Moses did not have to figure out anything.
In the Old Testament of the Bible, there is no mention of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, only of the one true God, Jehovah, carrying out His work in Israel.
FALSE. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all mentioned in the OT. And YHVH (or YHWH) -- translated as either Jehovah or Yahweh -- applies to both the Father and the Son. Do a proper study of this instead of spouting Anti-Trinitarian dogma.
When all has been said, be it the Father or the Son, They are one Spirit, not divided into separate persons.
FALSE. You are contradicting Matthew 28:19 and many other Scriptures.
Now in the last days, needless to say it is still the Spirit at work;[a] how could They be different persons? Is it not simply the Spirit of God carrying out the work of the Spirit from different perspectives?
You are simply confused and also trying to comprehend God with your puny, limited, rational, human mind. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all distinct from each other, and that is exactly what the Bible reveals. But this is DIVINE REVELATION.

There would be no point in wasting time on the ramblings in the OP. Enough said. Finesse has finessed himself into a corner. And that too, a newcomer from Canada!

James White's 'The Forgotten Trinity', Bethany House Publishers, is an excellent, Biblical study of God in Three Persons.
