I already told @Grailhunter that I would be posting this based upon an original story I'm writing entitled "Rock God." There's a part in my recent chapter where DJ (God) explains what it's like when a person dies or when we feel like we're forgotten and forsaken.
"It’s like a game of hide and seek. After a person dies their spirit hides away from you sometimes. Sometimes to the point where it feels like they’re gone forever. The truth is though they’re only waiting for you to go and seek them. Hide and seek just happens to be one of my favorite games.” -DJ
And no that doesn't mean that God is really hiding from us,.. it just means that He's waiting for us to go and seek Him and have a relationship with Him. As for the ones who have gone before us, well,.. we don't have to look too far in order to find them. :) Tagging @Nancy, @Tone, @Devin Wintch, @Heart2Soul, and @JohnDB for this even though not all of them are familiar with this story because I think they'll love this analogy.
(Btw, this song is the closest I can find of how DJ sounds like when he sings so it's sort of neat that we can somewhat hear him and pretty soon somebody is going to draw me a picture of him!!
