Thank you. You said there's no going back from feminism. Im thinking a lot about that. I wonder if there's any chance for a return to traditional ways?Very beautiful thread Wynona!
Thanks for taking the time to post such beautiful truth and knowledge in the images.
I'll never forget a party I attended when I was about 30...My two children were 7 and 5.
I decided to be a stay-at-home mom because I wanted to raise my own children. Sure, I knew I'd make mistakes,
but I wanted them to be MY mistakes.
Feminism was kind of new but very popular.
So a girl I hadn't seen in a while asked my what I was doing,,,and I told her.
Her reply was: That's all you do?
I try to be nice so I replied that it's a full time job....the cleaning and cooking and raising the kids,,,,I was happy to do this.
Her retort was that she also did all these things AND worked at a job. So I shut up and let it go.
And here we are today.
Feminism has lied to our young ladies and there's no going back.
The family is church. It should be a small community with common goals and concern for each other's welfare.
The family should have a soul and a spirit - not just a physical presence.
The soul is teaching all, even a spouse, how to have improved emotions, willpower, thinking methods, etc.
The spiritual is keeping God a part of the family in word and in our actions in how we treat others.
History is a wave. It goes up and down.Thank you. You said there's no going back from feminism. Im thinking a lot about that. I wonder if there's any chance for a return to traditional ways?
History is a wave. It goes up and down.
If you think of how Pompeii was when Vesuvio erupted.
Then how we got through the dark ages into the middle ages.
Then the renaissance -- think of the 1800s how conservative society was until
the modern era (I think the modern era began in the 1800s).
Now we're in the post modern era and God has been obliterated almost entirely.
Could we go back?
Not any time soon.
We'd have to hit rock bottom and we're not there yet - and then start our climb back up again.
I will say that it's established that some women have had enough of being told they're equal to men in every way
and are rebelling to the great lie that has been perpetrated on them from the 60s. And, with the help of the evil one, they fell for it hook, line and sinker.
But maybe they're too few to cause any big social change.
What do you think?
What great news!Only speaking for the United States, I would say traditional values are on the rise, though still vastly unpopular.
Angela Braniff headed the "tradwife" movement on social media. During Covid, more women decided not to return to work after the lockdowns. More of them also chose more home educatiom for their children and pulled them out of public schools.
Gen Z males are reported to be more conservative than previous generations. I hope the trends pick up speed. Id hate for society to collapse before things got better.
