How to be FREE from sinning.
Listen, all my Threads are spiritual word studies that are designed to show you your position "in Christ" as a redeemed eternally secure, child of God. They are all designed to get you away from bad faith, wrong faith, harmful faith, and into the place of Grace and the place of constant Peace with God, that should always your home and your hope.
You are sinning and confessing and repenting because you are walking in the flesh, and not in the Mind of Christ.
When you walk in the flesh, you are not walking in the Spirit.
You walk in the Spirit in/by your BELIEVING in your MIND, = when your faith is completely Grace centered.
First, to stop sinning.... you need the Blood and Death of Christ to replace your sin with "The gift of Righteousness" = born again.
2nd), is the part that you must SEE.....
You must see that you have spent years living in sin, then as a Christian, you are now made free from the dominion of sin. This happened the second you were born again.
So, why is it then that you are fighting to live right and falling, and confessing, and just not flying into the clouds thru the Joy of the Lord?
What i discovered is that when i was first saved years ago, sin became more desirable then it was before..... And that is the effect of no longer being under the law, yet the law's power to inflame my passion was a sort of mental blueprint that had designed how i thought. So, i had to change my thinking, but it was not just that, i had to find out what to learn to THINK.. I had to learn how to believe right.
Right believing produces right living.
See,, even tho the OT law has no legal right of dominion over you if you are born again, most of you are still trying to resist sin by will power... And so....resisting sin, empowers your flesh to overcome your will.
This is why you are sinning (committing works of the flesh) and repenting, and this is why you stay stuck in that as a lifestyle.
And most of you were taught that this is "christianity", but i assure you that the blood of Jesus didn't save you so that you can live a life that is not much better then an unbelievers, yet, they dont have the GUILT when they sin, that you do.
Now ive said that to you before, but, its good that you realize that if your Christianity is "sinning and repenting" and arguing on forums that this is "scriptural" then you have a lot to relearn, and unless you deal with it, you'll never get any better.
That's reality.
Yes, really. Its like fighting with a straight jacket. The more you try to "do right" the more you think about doing wrong. The more you fight sin with your will... the more the Law is able to energize your flesh to want to sin more. The more you 'resist the devil" the more you will think about the sin you are trying to resist and you flesh is going to have its way with you, and then you are back to the repent position and the confess time waste.
The desire to sin, is interesting because its ...the more you try to deny it, the more this empowers the desire. Trying to stop makes you want it more. "The power of sin, is the LAW". So, the more you try to keep the Law, the more the Law enflames your flesh to do the deed again and again because you will think about it more and more. = sin consciousness.
You're caught up in that, and that is why you are not able to just be FREEEEEE.
So, how do you free yourself from this situation. ????
Well, sin is a "mind thing". Your body does what you mind wants.. So, you have to change the way you think about Salvation so that the effect of "you are not under the law, but are under Grace", can become the new law in your mind. This has to replace years of a certain pattern of belief stronghold that owns you and leads you to fight with your flesh, to resist with only your will, against wrong desire. = you sin more.
The cure, is to be no longer conscious of sin. And that happens when you become deeply connected with the Truth of the GRACE of God.
The blood of Jesus , as the Blood Atonement, as the God's saving Grace, who is Christ Himself, is designed to empower you to not just resist temptation, but to be clear of sin consciousness.
The fact is, the more you become a believer in HOW the Grace of God has SAVED YOU......how incredibly complete and eternal is this Blood Atonement, the more you will find that all sin consciousness will depart.... and in that, you become more and more free from lust, and wrong thinking.
See, all your life you have been married to the LAW, and it manipulated you into sinning. And now the Grace of God has married you to a New Husband. And this spiritual union marriage is able to replace in your mind all that the law trained you to BE, previously So, you have to become a deep student of Grace so that the Grace of God can completely renew your mind. Grace understood correctly and obeyed totally, generates right believing, and the type of NEW thinking that frees you from wanting to sin.
You have to start here and stay here for life... Hebrews 13:9
Its like this Saint, you have to learn to live to THINK only as how God has recreated you to BE, in HIS VIEW.... instead of trying to live out your Christian life under the influence of the way you see yourself, which is 100% based on how you have been taught to think about "Christianity".
Learning to understand the Grace of God is to come to the knowledge of SEEING YOURSELF as ONLY GOD SEES You.
You have to learn to see yourself as only God sees you. As that is to exist as Living in a STATE OF GRACE in your mind. See, you are already "saved by GRACE thru FAITH", but you dont SEE that as your STATE of EXISTENCE as "in Christ, yet. So, you have to get there, and then you are FREED.
Getting there is the journey you have to begin and you have to exit within once you arrive.
Coming into the mind of Grace, as "walking in the Spirit" is where you have to FIND yourself regarding your Faith and understanding of how the Blood of Jesus, functions and delivers.
Paul found this and says that Victory is always found in Christ, through Christ.
Jesus said that apart from Him, you can do nothing..
Grace is Jesus..... Abiding in Jesus, is to abide in the mind of Christ that is to Walk in the Spirit.
When you are not there, you are walking in the flesh, and you will sin and repent and never be able to stop.
Jesus came to "set the captive free", and its the Grace of God that is the FREEDOM.
Look at this verse. . "God who began your salvation in you, will Himself be faithful to complete it".
That just told you that God is doing all the saving, including completing your salvation for you.. Listen, the blood of Jesus starts and completes your salvation.
So, if you cant truly believe that yet, even tho you are born again, is why you are not yet able to start mentally living in a State of Grace,= and you are still fighting sin. You are still owned by your flesh that is being empowered by the law.
Look at this verse. "as Jesus IS< so are the born again, IN THIS WORLD".
So, until you are able to come to a place in your faith, where all your confidence is in God thru Christ to keep you saved....then that verse is going to seem "odd", or impossible to you.
Saint, you must allow the Grace of God TO BECOME YOUR TRUE SELF IMAGE,= by becoming a deep student of : "The Grace of God", "Justification by Faith", and "The GIFT of Righteousness". Hebrews 13:9 Romans 3:21-29
Listen, "study to show yourself approved unto God", is not just telling you to do this by studying the bible. Its also this. Study GRACE to show your OWN SELF = How God has eternally approved of you... To SEE God's Grace as your Status "in Christ".... And let God SEE that you have deeply discovered and spiritually discerned His Amazing Grace, thru STUDY and meditation.
You start there, and God then gives you more Light.
