Chung Gee, Chung soon da! (phonetic expression... "what it sounds like") is a command to "stop or be shot." But, it doesn't translate directly into English, at all. We do need to be awfully forgiving of people who have learned to speak ANY of our crazy language.

Or " I need food" before I mastered the sentence- "Stop or be shot."

That was actually the very first Korean phrase we were required to learn in the Army.
BTW, where I was, there were no "washrooms". Often it was just a hole dug behind a piece of fence for the serious stuff..... the rest was casually done by the side of the road, men or women.

Welcome to forums, my mum knows Cantonese, my Grandma(Pau Pau, for those of you who don't know that means Grandma in Cantonese) so Pau Pau on my mum's side came from China, Pau Pau was born in Guangdong, mum was born in Malaysia, I was born in Australia, and live with mum and dad in Australia, unfortunately I only know a few words in Cantonese and can't write in it at all haha.
