We set a prayer box: 'Things I'm suffering from at the moment'.
People don't have to write their names on the paper they put into the box.
EVERY person in the church must take part in putting in a folded-four-times A4 white paper (So people won't be able to see the content) into the box before Sunday service (Written the week before), so that people won't find out who's suffering and make the person ashamed to let others know what they're suffering from.
If the person is afraid people might recognize them through their handwriting, they can type and print the prayer requests out at home using a computer the week before, keeping things anonymous.
Then on Sundays we seperate people into groups of two, empty the prayer box, randomly hand the requests to each group, to pray out loud all at once for the different requests listed on each piece of paper at the same time.
In this way it bonds us, helps us to see what other people are suffering from in our church so we may be more considerate and caring, and helps us to pray for those who are suffering in our church.
