Those who believe in OSAS as I do dont believe we can go on sinning.......we just believe you cant lose your salvation -which is biblical fact- just because you may stumble occasionally and all of us do
I agree.

We cannot by an act of our own will undo what only God could do in the first place.
Even in the case of reprobation, it is God's choice. And the good shepherd brings the sheep back to the fold.

What's the point of evangelism if everyone will automatically be saved?
That's the million dollar question SteVen. What is the purpose of witnessing? I'll let you mull it over a bit.
That assumes that the only benefit from a renewed relationship with God is in the afterlife.
Do you believe that?
No, true believers have a relationship with God now, the rest of the world will eventually have theirs during the millennial kingdom.

Thanks for your thoughtful response.

From my perspective, witnessing is an opportunity to partner with God in the redemption of humankind.
When we hear the testimonies of those with a renewed relationship with God, the stories take many forms.
Each one tailored to the individual life it effected. I have my story and you have yours.

We cannot save anyone. Only God can save. From the UR perspective, the work of salvation has
already been accomplished on the cross. The atonement is a complete work.

However, individual restoration has yet to be accomplished on behalf of all humankind. Past, present and future.
Even for believers there is still work to be done in the afterlife to complete the restoration. Healing for the nations.

1 John 2:2 NIV
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

There is THE JESUS who saves
their is another jesus that saves not .
Many follow the wrong jesus due to that one serveth their fleshly desires .
The JESUS who saves never went around telling people
HIS TRUTH was no better than their truth . the jesus of interfaith DOES . HENCE i dont heed their version of What they
think be JESUS , what they think be GOD . cause satan and his co workers
can USE the NAME OF JESUS and boy do they twist stuff right unto their own destruction .
As i am sure you well know dear sister .

You two are a great example of a dark shadow of negativity that follows others around.

Very good. God will chastise those who stumble and fall even unto death if necessary...but such people, though they can lose their rewards, they cannot lose the crown of life

Well put.
Reminded me of this,

Romans 11:29 NIV
for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

No, the work of atonement has begun, but it is not complete.
That is not so. When Jesus said It is finished that means it is complete. Nothing more needs to be done. It is strictly incumbent upon us to accept that finished work on the cross

Agree.
That will be quite a day. (age)

Philippians 2:10-11
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus's sacrifice saves ALL people from forever death, but only faith in Jesus and a heartfelt desire to follow his commandments saves people from a temporary trip to the Lake of Fire.

Yes, all people.
What do you mean when you write: "a heartfelt desire to follow his commandments"?
How is that a requirement for salvation? Works?

a temporary trip to the Lake of Fire.

The theology of a "temporary trip to the Lake of Fire", is nowhere found in a NT.

Eternal Life, is not just Salvation, its Damnation.

So, the Eternal Life of the DAMNED.......these......>John 3:36, will last for as Long as their eternal Judge, lives.

Jesus' sacrifice is meant for the whole world yes but it only saves those who accept that sacrifice. Once you die and ultimately end up in the lake of fire there is no getting out

Yes, all people.
What do you mean when you write: "a heartfelt desire to follow his commandments"?
How is that a requirement for salvation? Works?

Matthew 25:41-46 CLNT
41 "Then shall He be declaring to those also at His left, 'Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers.
42 For I hunger and you do not give Me to eat; I thirst and you do not give Me drink;
43 a stranger was I and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; infirm and in jail and you did not visit Me.'
44 "Then shall they also be answering, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive you hungering or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in jail, and we did not serve you?'
45 "Then shall He be answering them, saying, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it not to one of these, the least, neither do you it to Me.'
46 And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian."

Matthew 7:19-26 CLNT
19 Every tree not producing ideal fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.
20 Consequently, from their fruits you shall surely be recognizing them.
21 "Not everyone saying to Me 'Lord! Lord!' will be entering into the kingdom of the heavens, but he who is doing the will of My Father Who is in the heavens.
22 Many will be declaring to Me in that day, 'Lord! Lord! Was it not in Your name that we prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many powerful deeds?'
23 And then shall I be avowing to them that 'I never knew you! Depart from Me, workers of lawlessness!'
24 "Everyone, then, who is hearing these sayings of Mine and is doing them shall be likened to a prudent man who builds his house on the rock.
25 And the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blow and they lunge at that house, and it does not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
26 "And everyone who is hearing these sayings of Mine and not doing them shall be likened to a stupid man who builds his house on sand.
