Could you elaborate a bit on this? Not quite sure what point you are trying to get across.....thanks....
It's like we forget our part in what we must do, like we gonna get something for nothing .Really don't know how to present this ,just wanting Christians to understand the importance of this little word
Our part is to receive a “ free gift”.....
What “ must we do?”.......We must do God’s Will ! What is that? Believe on the One that He sent .....He that Believes ALREADY HAS Eternal Life—- he has passed from Death to Life......”Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be Saved” .....
We should not complicate what God has made simple.....it is only Human Pride that tells us we gotta “ DO” something.....The Gospel is NOT about what a man does for God.....it is what God has done for man....the only “ Task” that we have to do is to “ cash in” to what has already been accomplished FOR us at the Cross.....We “ cash in” By Turning to God ( repentance) with Faith in the Blood Of Jesus to Save us —- Plus NOTHING.....
Read Galatians.....Paul warns us not to Add to the Gospel ( 1Cor15:1-4) ....If you do you will “ Fall From Grace” —- it ain’t what the World and most confused Christians think it is —— it does NOT mean to get caught in some terrible sin ( think Jimmy Swaggart ) , it’s to ADD to the Gospel by essentially saying that even though the Blood of Christ is “Essential” for Salvation, it is just not “ Adequate “ on it’s isn for Salvation...
Nothing “ Adds” to the Gospel Of Pure Grace like catholic doctrine ( the seven sacraments , etc) and 90% of Protestant Churches are almost as bad....These confused people are all “ Fallen from Grace” and don’t even know it—— let’s hope that that designation is not tantamount to Damnation.....It would make that “ Narrow Path” VERY Narrow.....

Pretty sure this is something I touched on awhile back. Gods word does say"if" many times, New and Old Testaments. Paul says many times..."If you endure to the end"
Matthew 5:5
The Promise: You will inherit the Earth.
The Condition: If you are gentle, humble and/or meek
Matthew 7:7
The Promise: It will be given you
The Condition: If you ask
The Promise: You will find
The Condition: If you seek
The Promise: It will be opened to you
The Condition: If you knock
Matthew 24:45-47
The Promise: God will make a person ruler over all that is His (His possessions).
The Condition: If that person is faithful and wise in charge of the “little things”.
James 1:5-6
The Promise: If you ask of God in faith.
The Condition: Wisdom will be given.
James 1:12
The Promise: We will receive the crown of life
The Condition: If we endure trials by temptation and love the Lord.
1 Peter 5:1-4
The Promise: Elders will receive a crown of glory that will not fade.
The Condition: If they feed the flock God has given them, by taking the oversight of the flock willingly and not for money (blood money). Thereby setting an example for said flock.
So many more, think of Cain when God said to him: "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
I see a ton of like verses...not all in unconditional, actually most is not!

Here’s one “IF” verse that is so powerful it will get you Saved forever if you simply Believe it....”*IF* you will confess with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead—- you will be Saved....”
Great response , ty . Just feel we take it (IF) for granted sometimes, which led me to start this thread. Like when you wonder sometimes as a Christian, why you not receiving His blessings .It could be because of the if's ,somewhat like His promises to us , He said remind me of them (not like He don't know)point being do we know ?
I agree @n2thelight that we definitely do take those "ifs" for granted, it's like turning a blind eye to the hard sayings. We DO have a part to play and, that is obedience to His commands, His commands are not just following a set of rules but, encompass everything He did, or said. Just look at the sermon on the mount! We ARE free indeed, when we do as He said.
