The sin I'm talking about today is not a really bad sin but it's something that's against God. I try not to go against it, but I kept failing. What do I do? I hope I don't get the wrong responses of evil or from those who think they're better than me. Thanks but I want help. :(
I confessed it to God and prayed but it doesn't seem to help. I feel guilty and punished.

We all are sinners there. As nobody is perfect at all. Just lean on the Lord. Let the Lord take control there. In your heart and life. Praying for you as we all are guilty of sins. But that Jesus died and rose so that we are forgiven of our sins and have eternal life in heaven.

We are all a work in progress lords Pearl , we are on a journey of change. I struggle with things, fall in the same way many many times. Remember that there is a difference between guilt/ conviction and false guilt/ condemnation. Sadly we have an enemy that is forever throwing the latter at us.
The Lord deals with us individually and over time , there are things I use to struggle with but no longer give into, change comes from within as we renew our minds. However there are things that The Lord is dealing with now , and I have no doubts that there will be things in my life that he will deal with in the future that I am not aware are wrong at the moment.
The very fact that you are bothered by what you do is evidence that deep down it’s not something you want to do, The Lord knows our hearts xxx

If you are a Believer , all of your Sins have been paid for....So what does God say to do when we sin? God says to go to His “ Throne Of Grace” ......makes sense because “it is Grace that helps us to say No to Sin “ .....go to that Throne and do it BOLDLY ......the more Faith that you have in the Cleansing and “ ALL SUFFICIENT” Blood that Jesus Shed for us, the Bolder you will be!

God hates it when we Sin, and He May choose to Chastise us here in our earthy existence ( as we do our own children to train them right) when we “stumble”, but He surely must Love it When we take His Remedy for it - Trusting in His Grace and the Shed Blood to Cover it as far as our Salvation is concerned ...

I recommend that you try this: when you sin, do the same thing with it that God does—- Put it on the Cross ! Then thank Him for His Grace.....

When I've done things like this in the past it was because somewhere in my life I was allowing particular temptations in. In our weak areas these temptations become irresistible if we don't dispose of them.

This is very different from any attempt to dispose of our Sin Nature. We have poisoned spiritual natures that we will not be able to dispose of until the resurrection. God expects us not to exterminate our poisoned spiritual nature, but to overcome its inclination to cooperate with it, to do wrong things.

For example, many of us have weaknesses towards things that God made to be good, but became warped through our Sin Nature. Many of us--perhaps most of us, have had to deal with Sexual Lusts. God gives us spouses, but our Sin Nature is tempted to want more.

In this case, we need to discipline ourselves to wear that ring, to avoid compromising situations, to avoid pornography, if possible (it is everywhere today). If we stay focused on our family, and on the wealth that exists within our own personal domain, we won't be tempted to look over in the neighbor's yard.

The same thing would apply to the perversion of our desire to be productive and to be successful. Our Sin Nature is wayward, and tends towards coveting more and more, even at the expense of others. In this case, we need to stay focused on our immediate needs, and to learn gratitude for what we have. There is no problem wanting to be successful. The problem comes when we begin to sacrifice others to be successful.

Much of this is simply the discipline of learning to avoid the pitfalls that tempt us. Once we allow those temptations to live nearby, we eventually capitulate to them. So learn to know what attacks your weaknesses, and avoid tempting situations like the plague! Good luck. :)

It really helps to remember to stay focused on Christ himself, and to learn to appreciate the richness of his spiritual love. When we realize that all virtue comes from him, we want to stay focused on that, to demonstrate it, and thus to please him. There will be no room for carnal desires.

Everyone would like to live better and smarter.

In most cases, we simply don't know how to go about getting from here to there.

Stubbornness is a more valuable survival trait for most, in contrast to knowledge or intelligence.

Its normal to struggle with the same issue, until we find a solution to them. Some live their entire lives without ever being able to overcome their demons. I see it everyday.

Your guilty feelings are proof that you have changed from when you would not have felt guilty. That is good. It's progress and shows you are on the correct path. Praise God for having brought you out of darkness, even if it somewhat remains. Keep moving forward, seeking Him. He will show you the way:

"A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." Proverbs 16:9

Meanwhile, don't be anxious, be patient. God has allotted our whole lives to the task of coming out of darkness with a changed heart--and you are well on your way!

Blessings in Christ Jesus. Do not feel guilty and punished. The Lord does not condemn you for this, nor is He mad at you. Many times on my journey, when I have stumbled The Lord has told me that He was not mad at me and to keep walking. It is part of the enemys job to make us feel guilty and condemned, and yet there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. There actually is a positive side to stumbling. It draws us closer to The Lord in prayer, which in turn builds that relationship into trusting Him more with everything. I have learned that He alone is perfect and Holy. I am nothing and He is all. So no, The Lord is not mad at you, so pick your self up, dust yourself off(repent) and keep walking. Failing is normal in this walk, that is why He did what He did for us, and the way He did it. His walk was a walk that none of us could do, and yet He did it out of His love for us.

I have forgiven everyone who has trespassed against me. I have also given the utmost mercy and grace to others who have trespassed against me so by scripture if I confess my sins, He is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness and blessed are the merciful for they shall be shown/given mercy so that means I am forgiven and will be shown mercy too because I have extended forgiveness and mercy to others but I still feel guilty and I want to repent but keep failing. I want God's tender loving care and mercy and understanding and grace... I also feel punished with a headache and anxiety :( I hope it will just go away soon.

I have decided to repent, it's so hard but I have to listen to the Holy Spirit's prompting and trust in it or else I get a hand from God who only wants good for me and to bless me. I don't want to believe a lie. I hope I will really be safe and blessed as I follow His direction. He said peace I give to you, not as the "world" gives do I give to you so I shouldn't believe in worldly things where Satan is involved.

I hope your headache and anxiety goes away soon too.

Can you trust that your Heavenly Father loves you and forgives you?

Can we talk a little bit about "forgiveness"?

Forgiveness doesn't mean actions don't have consequences; they do. I hope that doesn't make your anxiety worse! Forgiveness means the relationship is not broken. God loves you and will keep on loving you, and that will never change. Your Heavenly Father will NOT kick you out on the streets. You're still His beloved daughter.

And He really, really is quite fond of you.

hmm, what is it you feel you need to repent of? Answer that q, if only for yourself, out loud iow. Fwiw feelings of unfounded guilt and accompanying anxiety are fairly common, there are even a bunch called “flagellators,” that, idk, had a toxic parent or whatever? My guess is that you might have that going on, or, people just tend to react diff to the stresses of life in the world, which i would recommend leaving of course, but that is/can be a fairly drawn out process i guess, so right now you might identify what it is you feel guilty about? I mean, ppl even resort to self-harm in your position, a sad thing imo.

The headaches are surely a symptom, and should disappear once the cause is addressed. I would ask how your relationship with your same-sex parent is, and whether or not your relationship with the other parent balances it out any, and if not you might seek a decent replacement there. You seem like a very conscientious person, and hopefully on some level you see that no one else can really love you if you dont love yourself first :)

Father in Heaven, please through your Mercy, place your Hand on the lord's pearl to help this sin pass before You and be wiped away. Give the peace that surpasses all understanding and bless this day as an overcomer. Going forth may this sin be remembered no more.

In Christ's name, Amen.

There is great peace in having a clear conscience. Even the smallest sin disrupts that. (I would suggest, then, it is important to understand exactly what sin is.) Anyhow, I find it isn't always easy resisting the temptation to sin, but I always regret it when I do sin.

When we repent of all our sin, we know God isn't angry with us. It's like a lifesaver you can grab onto when you are in the water.
