I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be. Especially in a case like this. :'( Bless this judge's heart. I only heard about this case a few weeks ago and yet this (right along with the Watts family murders) is something that I just can't seem to get over. :( (Evil truly does exist in the world.)

The pain of an unhealed broken heart can and does drive millions into addictive behaviors which momentarily ease the discomfort.
Alcohol and other drugs can kill slowly over time, and some can kill in a short time.
Dysfunctional behavior can cause depression, which we all know kills many.
So yes, a broken heart can kill.

This past February, after realizing that I was 62, friendless, nearly crippled with pain and illness, dependent on the charity of others, with the memory of a life full of bitter disappointment and loss, I lay down and asked God to stop my heart. He didn't. About a week later, we went through the same thing. If it was possible to die from a broken heart, I would've. Shalom.
"This is the day that the LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 :)

It's long been said that a person can die from a broken heart, but now, research suggests that there may be truth behind this timeless expression.

Known as the widowhood effect, social scientists say this phenomenon is one of the best documented examples of relationships on a person's health, and may be the result of an intense physical response to grief.

In a nine-year study of elderly couples across the U.S., researchers found that the death of a spouse substantially increased the likelihood of death in the surviving half of the pair.

A 90 year old woman passed away from my past church. Her and her hubby were married 70 years, pastor wife's parents. He died a couple weeks later. He had covid, but he really just stopped fighting to live I think.

They both lived long lives. Sad part too is pastor's wife, she got covid too, was in the hospital with her father when her mom had passed. It was a hard.time for the whole church. I loved them very much, but they lived good/long lives in Christ, and know they are okay.

It has been proven to be scientifically possible.
Maybe its God's way of letting people out of this life.

If you're heartbroken enough, you're probably not enjoying this life very much anyway.

Dying from crucifixion takes days yet Jesus was dead in six hours. He was abandoned by everyone and it seemed to him even his Father.
When the soldier pierced his side after he had died, the record tells us there came out blood and water. In situations of extreme stress the lymph and the haemoglobin seperate gathering on the diaphragm.
I would say Jesus die from a broken heart.....he gave all and was rejected for it.
