Is there a way to disable private conversations?

Seems like the only reason anybody contacts me privately is to argue over something I said publicly. I'm getting tired of it.

A reply to something I said in the forum belongs in the forum for a couple of reasons. First, I can see what you're responding to and have some idea what you're talking about. Second, it lets the whole world see what a dingdong you are instead of just me.

There are a couple ways you could do this.

1) Just add the user to your ignore list if they bother you altogether. This is for when a member won't leave you alone yet they don't break the rules.

2) If you click on the "Signed in as <username>" (replace with your username) link at the top left had side of any page then click on "My Settings" and then "Notifcation Options" you can disable PMs.
