    Here is a comparison of Israel in the Old Testament compared with Israel in the New Testament. Some think today's State of Israel is Biblical Israel. But if so, to whom are they re-grafted back into upon believing in Christ (Romans 11)?

    Old Testament Israel;

    1. Saints (Num. 16:3; Deut. 33:3)
    2. Elect (Deut. 7:6,7; 14:2)
    3. Beloved (Deut. 7:7; 4:37)
    4. Called (Isa. 41:9; 43:1)
    5. Church (Ps. 89:5; Mic. 2:5 (LXX)
    Act. 7:38; Heb. 2:12)
    6. Flock (Ezek. 34; Ps. 77:20)
    7. Holy Nation (Exod. 19:5,6)
    8. Kingdom of Priests (Exod.l9:5,6)
    9. Peculiar Treasure (Exod. 19:5,6)
    10. God's People (Hos. 1:9,10)
    11. Holy People (Deut. 7:6)
    12. People of Inheritance (Deut. 4:20)
    13. God's Tabernacle in Israel
    (Lev. 26:11)
    14. God walks among them
    (Lev. 26:12)
    15. Twelve Patriarchs
    16. Christ married to them (Isa. 54:5;
    Jer. 3:14; Hos. 2:19; Jer. 6:2; 31:32)

    New Testament Israel;

    1. Saints (Eph. 1:1; Rom. 1:7)
    2. Elect (Col. 3:12; Titus 1:1)
    3. Beloved (Col.3:12; 1 Thess 1:4)
    4. Called (Rom. 1:6,7; lCor.l:2)
    5. Church (Eph. 1:1;
    Acts 20:28)
    6. Flock (Luke 12:32; 1 Pet. 5:2)
    7. Holy Nation (1 Pet. 2:9)
    8. Kingdom of Priests (1 Pet. 2:9)
    9. Peculiar Treasure (1 Pet. 2:9)
    10. God's People (1 Pet. 2:10)
    11. Holy People (1 Pet. 1:15,16)
    12. People of Inheritance (Eph. 1:18)
    13. God's Tabernacle in Church
    (John 1:14)
    14. God walks among them
    (2 Cor. 6:16-18)
    15. Twelve Apostles
    16. Christ married to them
    (Eph. 5:22, 23; 2Cor. 11:2)

    The modern state creatively called Israel is actually Judea. Jesus lived in Judea not a country called Israel. But people don't know history. A people with no memory can be manipulated over and over again. History shows that as well. But never have people been so forgetful as today.

    It's Satan that is trying to undermine Jesus Christ and most of them that think that they are Christians are not truly followers of Christ Jesus because they do not abide in him.

    They are abiding in their own religion, the religion of Man and his works, I see this all the time, they look around themselves and go with the flow of the crowd, not wanting to get out of step with the Mob for fear, due to their lack of knowledge or will not stand up for Christ.
    Jesus was hammered in front of such people back in the day and they did not lift a finger, I would hate to be so lukewarm and I hate to see Jesus being crucified, but that's where they are at.

    If you follow Jesus Christ, well stand up for him for crying out loud I say.

    1. We know that that is not true. The nation-state of modern Israel was established as a strictly secular entity in what was Palestine. And it does not even occupy all of Judea as at the time of Christ.

    2. We also know that ISRAEL IS NOT THE CHURCH.

    3. We also have biblical evidence that you are TOTALLY MISTAKEN.

    THE 144,000 -- A MICROCOSM OF REDEEMED ISRAEL (REV 7)
    4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
    5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
    6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
    7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
    8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
    [NOTE: While the 144,000 will be in Heaven before the throne of God, these tribes will also be settled in the future land of *GREATER ISRAEL* (from the Nile to the Euphrates) as described in Ezekiel 48:1-35 in the Millennium and beyond]

    THE CHURCH -- ALONGSIDE AND SEPARATE (REV 7)
    9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
    10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
    11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
    12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

    Dave, you are trying to contradict God, Christ, and the Bible with your foolish notions. You have no clue about this subject, yet you continue to persist in your errors.

    Not good with geography are you?

    Jerusalem is solidly in Israel.

    You amaze me Mr. C. You are Israel and don't even know it. Today's "Israel" are the descendants of the Pharisees, and E. European converts who exist only because of their hatred of us and Jesus. (Pssst. They have the spirit of Antichrist too). The real Jews accepted Christ and took us on as believing gentiles.

    Dispensationalism does twist the mind. Israel is the church and the 144000 Jewish converts to Christianity. but the great multitude which no man can number are of gentile origins.

    Not sure I'd replace God's forever gift to His chosen people with Rome's borders and names.

    But be my guest!

    That reminds me of a game we used to play when we were children, the game is contained in the name, you just keep repeating it when one of the other's would insult, "I know you are but what am I?"

    Much love!

    You are saying Abraham is to whom the believers are grafted back into. Paul says we (believers) are Abraham's seed along with Christ who is Israel.

    It is true, the natural man cannot discern spiritual truth. In this case that Jesus is Israel and we who believe in him are members of Israel.
