I'm speechless! What's next? The cancelling culture looks like a Hitler-like regime movement from what I've heard of history.
This isn't anything new though and I was afraid that it was going to happen eventually. You see, this has been going on since Christ has walked the earth. People hate the truth if they don't agree with it and that's why they crucified Jesus even though He spoke the truth one hundred percent of the time. We might not sentence people to death anymore, (that is if it even ever occurred in America) but if anybody knows how we feel it's Jesus. He was censored and silenced all the time.
I think we have to learn from history to not repeat terrible moments, and while I don't think we're close to Nazi Germany, perhaps there is something to learn here: Book Burning

Also, I was just having this discussion at dinner. The fact that all these website are trying to censor people doesn't change anything. The truth is still the truth whether they want us to know it or not.
I watched this movie last night and this is the song that my heart is currently singing since it's scary how much it relates to these issues in the world today.
They were not the first to burn books. The church also resorted to this method of controlling the Christian narrative. Heck people are trying to do that on this forum as well, if you have not noticed.

People will report you and your posts are either edited or removed because of the report that they give on "political correctness" grounds. Globally, thou shall not offend another person in this world. I simply accept the rulings of the administration in these matters.
Now I have reported members on this forum, but not because of their beliefs, rather because of their deliberately false claims against the person to stop further posts by that person. Its a means of censoring another member and can be quite effective, as they, the "bullied," retreat after the false claims and the truth can no longer be presented.
Know what I mean.

Some people in America are so pro-censorship that they would sanitize, filter or reshape everything. Even China and North Korea are probably not as pro-censorship as they are.

What people seem to have difficulty understanding is that fascism is the domain of the left and we shouldn't be surprised when people on the left are leading the way in this direction.

Ideas are not illegal or harmful.
But they way they are presented can be.
There's a huge difference between saying that an activity or ideology is immorally short-sided or is evil with malicious intent.
And the current state of America (and beyond) is that there is a widening gap between the two political spectrums. There always has been a gulf, but in recent times (as has been the case in history) the rhetoric is increasing in severity.
To the point that the subject matter gets lost in the process.
I spent several hours last year trying to figure out the basis for why congress decided to impeach the President. And I was somewhat dismayed that all the rhetoric on both sides was so thick that the substance was lost.
And after several hours of looking I finally discovered what was lying at the root of all the shouting. And it was nothing more than something that most Americans didn't think was actually wrong...in fact they wanted our President to engage in that practice. (But this really isn't the point)
The problem is the partisanship.
America is great, not because of its resources but because of its ability to work together to listen and solve it's problems.
That's it... nothing more.
Individually we put other's needs above our own. That creates a unique society.
But currently there's a ton of finger pointing about supposed crimes of the past that need to be atoned for today by someone unconvicted of any crime. That those found guilty of any thought crime should be treated worse than thugs...denied any human rights that even a murderer might receive.
And that's the scary thing. Because that is a key element of Marxism.

We censor those who promote racial prejudice. We censor those who promote disparaging any group based upon iligitimate reasonings. Always have.

How have u been? I have ventured out. Thanks for asking.
I'm on the road... In a hidden land on the edge of the earth... Dropping in and out of the grid... The bush down here is beyond the Aussie bush... In a land on its own...
It has its own endemic flora and fauna with trees that tower 100 meters high and mythical creatures that's are still said to roam the deep bush... Its filled will lush green rolling meadows and beautiful valleys with prestine rivers, lakes and waterfalls.
Everyone waves at everyone down here... Complete strangers... Is that normal...
In the city it's kind of rude to do something like that... I think we've been conditioned to be snobs... Waving to someone can actually be a criminal offence in the city... You cannot attempt to communicate with someone who u dont already know...
What a stupid paradox. So I can only wave to people I know. How then can I meet people... Lol... That is one twisted paradox...
These are some of the things I like to ponder...
See how kids react to waves... They love it... We are born to wave to eachother. We even love to wave at things like animals, planes and ships...
Who are you waving to... The ship or plane isn't waving back at u anyone. U can't see your loved one on the ship or plane... Your just waving to the ship or plane... And vice versa...
Iv concluded that waving to strangers is normal... And I'm having fun waving at everyone...
