At times Jesus the Christ delivers his people, the children of God. He is with his people together with God the Father and the Holy Ghost in these the last days.
In these the last days there are troubles and even a fight against slavery(s) of different types, methods and practices of slavery. Captivity(s) as well. Displaying at times and in ways not good, enticement, seduction, manipulation, coercion and the use of force towards suffering, affliction and even death and hell and those ways are the ways of darkeness of evil. Those things can be attempts to defy our freedom to choose life, freedom and prosperity for ourselves and others in the proper ways of diginified and respectable adulthood.
Jesus at times throughout earth history has delivered his people. And we also know that there are those, that if able, were there to help God as servents of our kind and loving God. He sometimes has sorrow watching over the earth when he witnesses the afflictions some go thru. And at times anger against his enemies and those that cause it. He is known to be slow to anger, especially when compared to mankind and our ways. I pray we are never angering him. He does chastise those he loves.
I pray for the wicked that they desire salvation from God for themselves and those they encounter in life. God knows best how to turn a person away from sin and back towards the God of life and heaven. And pray they not engage in the death and hell spread by the enemy.

Revelation 15
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Deuteronomy 32
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

Bible Gateway passage: Revelation 15 - King James Version
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and...

Bible Gateway passage: Deuteronomy 32 - King James Version
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness...
