In the book of Job, the “comforters” became jealous of Job, why?
In that time men prepared a sacrifice to God.
If the sacrifice was acceptable God sent fire from heaven and consumed the sacrifice.
Obviously Jobs’ sacrifice was found acceptable there’s was not and this created much envy, so they started questioning Job.

Hi Sir: in Job 13.15, Job says: "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him". This is true, trusting faith.

I as a human know not God as I ought to know, however, I’ve asked:
“When I am no earthly good to you please slay me. I don’t want to be here with no purpose”
That is very true!

It's a matter of learning to take God at His word in the Scriptures...

Such a blessing to trust God's beloved Son and His work at the Cross for sinners!
