Hi there,
So you know that Jesus perceptively announced that the Holy Spirit would convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment? That is fascinating, but there is a truth in that, which is that God has a conviction for all of us to share with the world. Not only that, but everyone who is to come after us will have a conviction to share. Something to look out for, is the return of John the Baptist and his conviction.
John the Baptist when he returns, will convict the world of Answer, Truth and Spirit. Answer because the Word has no limit; Truth because Spirit is enshrined in truth; and Spirit because the soul is irrelevant to the Devil.
The center of this, is interesting, because it suggests the path that John the Baptist prepares for the coming of the Holy Spirit, will grow out of "the Word". As John's gospel says at the very start, "the Word became flesh". It seems the Holy Spirit will bring the Word being flesh, by becoming flesh Himself.
Of course the tribulation is coming and we dwelling in Heaven will have to deal with the anti-christ, but if the Holy Spirit becomes flesh, then at the rapture so will the faith - perhaps being enough to restrain the anti-christ, if we are diligent and the Lord is willing.
What will give us patience for all this? The knowledge that God is able to use our conviction for His Glory! Peace with God, having done all to convict the world, is a mighty prize in Heaven - let us press on!
