I compiled this a few years ago and don't know if other countries have these chocolate bars but I hope it might give you a bit of a laugh anyway.

CHOCOLATE CHRISTIANS:

WISPA: Silent orders, Quakers.

YORKIE: Like Terriers, holding on, very active, fearless and tenacious.

PICNICS: Al fresco/ street preachers or fair weather Christians.

MILKY WAY/GALAXY: People who have their heads in the clouds so that they are no earthly use.

AERO: Those with not much substance.

MARS: Prayer warriors

TWIX: Can't deciders

SNICKERS: The nutty ones.

FRUIT AND NUT: The ones who are a mix between spiritual fruit and religious nut.

TIME OUT: The ones who like short sermons.

TOBLERONE: Those who go between spiritual highs and lows.

LOOT: Some of the TV evangelists.

TREETS: (Melt in your mouth not in your hand.) The ones who can take the heat.

MINSTRELS: The musicians and good worshippers.

DRIFTER: Can't settle in one church.

TWIRL: They dance like David danced

LION BAR: The ones who make a lot of noise.

FLAKES: Speaks for itself.

Yes all UK chocolate bars. What do you think Kit-Kats would be like? Split the church ones?

Here I am awake and it’s only 2.20 am.

I woke up thinking no of this thread.
While we know that it is humorous , I woke up feeling the challenge of , ‘what kind of Christians are we.’
Do we start to melt the moment the heat is turned up?

That little poem came to me:-

“Will we be carried to the skies
On beds of flowery ease
While others fight to win the prize
And sail through bloody seas?”

Food for thought.

All I know is if I had started this thread I would have been banned.

Sobering thought.

As for Paul:

"...in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches." (2 Corinthians 11.23b-28)

I don't know which one I am. I have probably been a few over the years.

Do you wish for this post to be changed back to the old one with the chocolate bars?
I discovered I had already posted the same thing about a year ago. But perhaps re-instate this one and delete the older one?
