A lesson from God regarding righteous and unrighteous rule, authority of any kind, be it ruler, lawmaker, judge, officer, enforcer of God's laws, etc. And that includes humanitarian works, etc. Without prejudices? Consider the matters of law enforcement and warfare. You wouldn't give weapons to your enemies or they might harm your loved ones, etc.
This is something the disciples learned about judging righteous judgment. It is an important lesson for those persons in authority so that people do not seek harm against those in positions of authority, including themselves. Not that people sometimes seek to harm others anyways. But at least it won't be their fault, as far as persons in authority. While some enemies are best avoided in person as they may attempt harm anyways. Sometimes message can be sent of peace offerings. Hopefully we don't make people angry on purpose or accidentally.
And using judgment is a difficult thing, I consider God only worthy as judge and seek his infinite knowledge and wisdom in all things. He blesses us often.
