How is it that so many people who study Bible prophecy cannot see the forthcoming fire judgement? The forthcoming Lord’s Day, when He will send His fiery wrath upon His enemies. The forthcoming Day the Lord will send His fiery wrath, a disaster of similar magnitude as Noah’s Flood.

It must be attributed to Scriptures that say it will only be possible to know God’s plans just prior to the end time events. 1 Also many are sticking to incorrect ideas, such as a pre Tribulation ‘rapture’ and a nuclear war and they misplace or ignore prophetic verses. 2

Over one hundred scriptures tell of a terrible Day of fire and earthquakes, that will affect all of the world – vivid details of a tremendous destruction that cannot be matched with the war of Gog and Magog or the Return of Jesus.3 Prophesy tells plainly how the Middle East countries and cities will be destroyed, 4 and that God will turn the weapons of those commencing to attack the State of Israel upon their own heads. 5

The nature and extent of this fire judgement rules out any man made explanation. It is clearly stated that the Lord Himself will instigate His Day of vengeance and wrath upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 6

The verses in Isaiah 30:26...the sun will shine with seven times its normal strength... and Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, are the ones that tell us exactly what means the Lord will use to carry it out. There has, in the past been sunspot activity that has seriously affected the earth, but a really large Coronal Mass Ejection will cause all the prophesied devastation and deaths worldwide. 7 This terrifying and shocking disaster of a fireball that envelopes the earth, will hit suddenly and unexpectedly, killing anyone caught outside. 8 Millions will die from the initial strike and millions more from the fighting and famine afterwards. 9

To re-establish law and order, a One World government will be agreed to, with the world divided into ten regions, each headed by its own president. 10 In Israel, the Messianic Jewish remnant who survive by hiding underground, 11 will be joined by their Christian brethren 12

God knows who they are and He will motivate them to emigrate to the new nation of Beulah, to all of that area promised to the Patriarchs. 13 They will experience the great blessings that God has promised to His righteous faithful Christian people and they will fulfill their destiny. 14

In a few years, a world dictator will come to power and will eventually take control of Beulah and he will desecrate the new Temple. This starts the Great Tribulation, then 3½ years later Jesus returns to commence His Millennium reign. 15

Just when do we get to truly understand the prophetic Scriptures? It cannot be that God will say to us after the end times have all happened, “Ha Ha, you dummies, for all your philosophy, sciences and religious studies, you couldn’t figure out what I gave you in your Bible.”
No, God will lift the veil from the minds of the few who earnestly seek the truth, those who put aside preconceived notions and renounce erroneous teachings. 16

1 Thessalonians 5:4 You, friends, are not in the dark...
1 Corinthians 14:22b.....prophecy is for believers.

The Lord will enlighten us if we search the Word, in humility and with the right motives.17 And put aside all theories and fables taught by well intentioned, but wrong; pastors and teachers. 18

Habakkuk 1:5 Look around you among the nations, see there a sight that will utterly astound you, you will not believe it when you are told of what is being done in your days.

Habakkuk 1:6-11 goes on to say how the Babylonians were appointed to execute judgement against the House of Judah, but the preceding verses in Habakkuk 1:1-4 are a general indictment onto peoples and nations whose ‘laws are ineffective and where justice is overruled’. Therefore this threat of action by the Lord applies to our times, as well.

Acts 13:40-41 Beware, then lest you bring down upon yourselves the doom proclaimed by the prophets. Look, you who fail to grasp the truth, be surprised and perish. I am doing a work in your days, something that you will not believe, even though it has been pointed out to you.

Paul's quote of Habakkuk 1:8, the parallel passage from the New Testament, has nothing to do with Jesus, His message of Salvation is not ‘doom’.
It applies to the end times: ‘your days’, not his days, but our days.

The ‘Doom proclaimed by the prophets’, will be the great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath. All the prophets and Jesus make it clear that this ‘Day of doom’, is the next prophesied event that we can expect to happen. Jesus quoted the first and half of the second verse of Isaiah 61:1-2, at the commencement of His ministry. The worldwide Day of vengeance of our God’, is the next prophesied event, still not yet happened. It will be the Sixth Seal; a worldwide disaster of similar magnitude as what happened in the days of Noah, which commences all the prophesied end times events, leading up to the glorious Return of Jesus.

More than 100 prophecies throughout the Bible describe in vivid detail this forthcoming punishment onto the whole world by devastating fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis. This sudden and shocking event will take most people unawares and we are told by Paul, that those who are ‘surprised’; that is unaware and unprepared, then: they may perish.. Ezekiel 21:3-4

Isaiah 30:26 tells us what it is that causes this worldwide devastation and also that it will be ‘the Day the Lord saves His people’. who are all faithful Christians, who truly believe in Jesus and a few Messianic Jews who are protected in Jerusalem. Isaiah 29:4

Therefore it is up to us to take heed of the warnings, Isaiah 24:1, Isaiah 26:20-21 and to be prepared for all the effects of a massive explosion on the suns surface, that will kill about 1/3 of the world’s population and will destroy all of our modern infrastructure. Jeremiah 9:22, Ezekiel 30:1-8, Isaiah 13:12

Then; for all who love the Lord and keep His Commandments, the Lord is ‘waiting to show His favour’, Isaiah 30:18-20

There is no second coming verse or passage that describes any fire being used to kill anyone. We don't see that because it doesn't exist.

It is the Lord Himself who is the consuming fire which devours sin and those who cleave to it. And there are some who stand in the midst of it and survive.
Psalms 11:4-6 The Lord sits in His holy Temple.....He weighs the just and the unjust and he hates those who love violence. He will rain fiery coals and scorching winds upon the wicked peoples.
The Lord will send His fiery wrath.....
Amos 1 & 2:1-5

Great thread title! “lifting the veil”. It makes me think of the husband lifting the veil of his bride at the wedding ceremony.

Do you have a cognizance problem?
I have made it clear that the Lord's terrible Day of fiery wrath, will happen at least 7+ years before He Returns.

All three prophecies describing the glorious Return never mention fire as His weapon. Zechariah 14:4, Matthew 24:50, Revelation 19:11-21
But on His sudden and shocking Day of vengeance and wrath, over 70 prophesies say that Day will be fulfilled with fire.

How is it that Christians like you are seemingly unable to see the scriptural and logical sequence of the end time events?

Most of the passages you quoted were not second coming passages. Do YOU have a cognizance problem?

The most well known and clearest description of the second coming is Revelation 19 and no fire is used to kill. He uses a symbolic sword, not fire.

I agree.
It is you who has the idea that I believe they are about the Return. I do not believe that.

They all refer to the Lord's terrible Day of fiery wrath; the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster.
This forthcoming world changer is what I focus on and what many simply cannot see.

As I quoted in #3, those who fail to understand Gods Plans for our future, will be surprised and may perish.

2 Corinthians 3:12-18

great passage you shared with “lifting the veil” love the veil is over the heart but when it (the heart) turns to the Lord the veil is lifted… seeing face to face His glory, beholding, being changed into His image. (Paraphrased) 2 Corinthians 3:12-18. Does the heart turning to the Lord and the veil being lifted cause you to think of when a brides veil is lifted by the husband at marriage?

That is exactly why Revelation 19 is not the Second Coming. Jesus said it would happen when you think not. Revelation 19 is too obvious.

Jesus was referring to His sudden and shocking Day of fiery wrath. He will send fire, earthquakes, storms; to reset our civilization. The event which sets the scene for all the prophesied end time events.

Thinking that Revelation 19:11-21 is not the second coming; the Return in glory, is just wakadoodle.

There is no such thing. The only time fire is used to kill is in Revelation 20, long after the second coming. The next fire that is used would be to bring about the New Heaven and new Earth and I see that fire as cleansing.

There is no such thing. The only time fire is used to kill is in Revelation 20, long after the second coming. The next fire that is used would be to bring about the New Heaven and new Earth and I see that fire as cleansing.
The Earth will Burn: 2 Peter 3:7, Isaiah 66:15-16, Zephaniah 3:8, Isaiah 33:10-12

In ancient times, God promised to Noah that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. Genesis 9:11 But we see in Deuteronomy 32:34-35 & 22, God has kept in His storehouse a judgement of fire prepared and ready for His Day of vengeance. As we are once again ‘as in the days of Noah’, this terrible and devastating Day of fires, storms and earthquakes will soon strike the world, it will be the next prophesied event that will commence all that must happen, leading up to the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign.

Psalms 46:1-11 The Lord is our refuge and stronghold, He will help us in trouble, so we are not afraid when the earth is shaking and the mountains move; when the waves of the sea roar and the earth is quaking before the Lords majesty. Nations are in an uproar and kingdoms fall when the Lord thunders; the earth burns.

Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolation He has brought on the earth. He makes wars to cease throughout the world, He breaks the bow, snaps the spear and burns the chariots in the fire.

There is a river whose flow brings joy to the city of God, the holy Place of the Most High. The Lord is within her, she will not be overthrown and at the break of Day, He will come to her aid.

Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations and revered throughout the world. The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our Rock.

This describes how the Lord will judge and punish the nations and ‘the desolation He will bring to the earth’. He will destroy all weapons of war and military forces will be neutralized or wiped out, but the Lord promises ‘to be a refuge’ to His people, when at the ‘break of day, the sea roars, the earth quakes and burns’. It is His great Day of vengeance and wrath, a massive explosion of the suns surface that will bring about all the vividly described effects. We are warned to be prepared for that terrible Day, but our only true protection will be our faith and trust in the Lord. Isaiah 30:15-30

Isaiah 9:18-19 The ungodly will be set ablaze, as a fire that consumes briars and thorns. It sets the forests on fire and all is wrapped in a pall of smoke.

The land is scorched by the fury of the Lord and the people will be fuel for the fire. Ezekiel 21:1-7, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Romans 1:18, Hebrews 10:27

Psalms 50:1-5 The Lord is coming and will not remain silent. From the sunrise to the sunset, A consuming fire runs ahead of Him and all around a great storm rages. He calls to the heavens above and the earth below, that He may judge His people.

Gather to Me, My loyal servants, those who have made a Covenant with Me by sacrifice. 1 Peter 3:17 Ref: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged.

This is not the Return of Jesus in His glory, as that cannot happen until the Anti-Christ is revealed. 2 Thess. 2:3 It will be the Lord’s judgement and punishment of the nations, Psalms 110:5-6, Habakkuk 3:12, and all the world will be affected. It will be triggered by an attack on the State of Israel by an Islamic confederation. Psalms 83

The Lord’s people will be judged, Jeremiah 46:27-28, 1 Peter 4:17 and those who are His ‘loyal servants’, will be protected. Zechariah 9:15-16, Joel 3:16, Psalms 37:9, Zephaniah 2:3, 2 Thess.1:6-10

The Earth will Burn: 2 Peter 3:7

That is speaking of the day the Great White Throne Judgement (GWTJ) happens. When the unsaved are cast into the lake of fire the New Heaven and new Earth will occur through that special fire. No enemies are killed by it because they don't exist anymore, and the fire isn't a weapon.

Rubbish.
All those prophesies refer to the forthcoming Day when the Lord will reset our civilization, as He did in the days of Noah, but this time by fire.
Wait for the Day! Zephaniah 3:8-10
