You know, in this world, you can waste your love.
The unbelievers do this their entire life.
They love things of the world, and things of the world are not worth their love.
You can spend your love in a way that wastes it, even as a born again believer.
You can waste your love, just like you can waste your life.
We are always to be of love.
God calls us to love.
We are always to be allowing God's love to love through us, but, we have to be careful, as love is precious and love is the sacred treasure of the heart.
The NT speaks of casting our pearls before swine.
And we have to be careful not to waste our love in the same regard.
We are to meet every need we can meet, and we are to serve every person we can serve, but we have to be careful while we do it.
Its a fine line, and its a discernment issue, to understand that we have only so much time, and so, we only have so much love to give, so, we have to be certain that we are not wasting it.
The best way to understand this, is to understand that your time is your life... so, what you spend loving with your life, is how you are spending your time for God.
See, all time spent is being spent for God, if you are born again....for bad or for good.
This is because you belong to God, and the time you have and the life you have, belong to God. So, How you spend all this, is what you are doing for God.... or not.
Be careful of that...
You have to be "on guard, so that you are not investing too much time into the useless and the wasted and wasteful and the never can be resolved.
The Devil will keep you there, if you are not discerning and on guard.
The Devil will lead you into as many life traps as He can get you involved with, and so, you have to be on guard and understand that your time is precious to the Devil and He will have your life if he can get you to invest your time into His diversions.
Many Christians live there.
One of the best ways to love, is to love yourself.
Yes, you need to love yourself. You need to see the great value that you have as a person, as a human, as a born again child of the Most High.
And how do you know that you have immense value? Well, would God give His Blood and give His Son's life for you, if you weren't so very important?
You are so important, that if you were the only person in the world, God would still have sent his Only Begotten Son for you.....Just for you.
If you were the only one on the planet, Jesus would still have come to die for you so that you could be a part of His eternal family.
Isn't Jesus wonderful?
Isn't Jesus worth loving with all your heart?
