Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Hos 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
Hos 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Hos 6:4O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
Hos 6:5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
Hos 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Hos 6:7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

Mic 6:6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Mic 6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Mic 6:9 The LORD'S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Jhn 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

The Law was a demonstration of what it is to be Holy before God, and how shamefully futile it was for a creature endowed with free-will, to adhere to it. And though, through Christ, the Law was rescinded in order to allow for the implementation of a new Law, the Law of Faith, we do not consider the tenets of the former Law to be, one, of no inherent value, and two, undesirable. This principle pertains to the moral laws, not the dietary, festival or ritual observances.

The Law of faith is greater than that of works, as it reveals a deeper conviction within the adherent. It is much easier to go through the motions of a regiment, without having a true devotion or sincerity for the purpose itself, than to be steadfast in both words and deeds for the intangible. Especially when the intangible was designed to be morbid, repulsive and shameful to the many.

But, again, morality and works do not cease with the new Covenant, they merely are not grounds to disqualify one from salvation, ...unless one's continuous illicit actions, or lack of good deeds, do undermine the veracity of their faith.

As far as the moral laws are concerned, not the dietary, festival or ritual observances.

And yet there are works. There is charity, there is feeding the poor, and helping the infirm or the elderly, being a big brother who has no father.
There are those works which the law intended. If we look closely at the law we will find, love your neighbor as yourself.
Not because if you don't do it you will go to hell, but because it is the right thing to do.
When it comes to the levitical laws those do not apply because Jesus himself fulfilled the Levital Priesthood.
We are the lambs that he washes, he removes the fat or the leaven and burns it away and then he offers us up as a sweet smelling offering to himself. He does those works which we can not do ourselves.
We can not save ourselves by trying to save ourselves
But we can walk the path He laid before us.
We walk in the law not under it.
That law which is written in our hearts and minds. To do justly, and have mercy, and to walk humbly, with the Lord.
Mic 6:8
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
We walk by Grace. His Grace that he covers us with.

Thank You
