We just our 18 y.o. cat to sleep last Monday. It was a hard time, we cried for 2 weeks knowing we had to do it.
Yes, I know how hard it is. Try to remember he or she is not suffering anymore.
Also, remember the good times rather than the other.
My current cat is now 14 years old. I've had others...two lived to 17 years old. I think Miss Kitty will be my last cat as I am 73.
