Translated:- 'anointed' and 'Messiah'.

'Prophet', 'Priest' and 'King' were all roles which required God's anointing: but in the Lord Jesus Christ all three roles are fulfilled. For He was anointed for all three roles.
The words, 'This is my Beloved Son,' is the formula for consecration:-
