When the antichrist arrives, his ultimate goal will be the abolishment of religion.

At this time, the vast majority of men and women in active duty as members of the United States Military are self professed "Christians." While evangelicals are a relatively small part of that number, I doubt that the rest would be willing to treat evangelicals the same was as terrorists. This fact has some people in government very concerned; the people with the guns tend to make the rules. The United States was never really a "Christian nation" but has always been something of a stronghold for Christianity because of that troublesome little "freedom of religion." thing in our founding documents. Abrogating the constitution is something that the majority of Americans seems to remain unwilling to do. The liberal elite are smart enough to know this and are working hard at chipping away at our rights a little at a time, thinking that people won't notice it, but the very idea is absurd.
The real problem is that when the anti-christ concludes that christianity in the U.S. can't be crushed by legal means, more drastic measures will be implemented, perhaps the sacrifice of an entire nation.

Your statement is logically impossible, ideologically unfounded and literally uninformed. In short, it is being made in a vacuum. It's like saying that a champion ball team has sworn not to use a ball. It's just wrong.

According to two major faiths on the planet, Islam and Christianity, the anti-christ will be a religious leader. This person will use his particular form of religion to persecute those who do not follow his god and his form of religion. Anti-Christ will be a religious leader, ball and all.

97% of the population of planet earth believe in some sort of spirituality and god. The rest, as the Bible says, are just fools who use their denial to justify their own sin and self serving actions.

Psa 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that doeth good.

Pro 26:8 As a bag of gems in a heap of stones, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.

For those who wish to explore the subject of anti-Christ, there are several good books available. Begin with the Islamic holy book the Qur'an. It states most clearly that Jesus isn't the son of God, that He didn't die on the cross for the sins of man and that Jesus actually appeared in heaven to apologize to Allah saying that he (Jesus) never claimed to be the son of god. Islamic Hadith literature, also considered to be scripture, claims that a man will arise from the sons of arab culture who will lead Islam in conquest of the people of the book (Christians & Jews). This man has an ancient name; Mohammad al-Mahdi the 12th Imam of Shia Islam.

A good secular book to read on the subject is Joel Richardson's book THE ISLAMIC ANTICHRIST. If this work doesn't make you shake in your shoes, then you have no mind to appreciate current events. It is well worth the money and time invested in reading its pages.

Finally, an excellent book on the subject of the anti-Christ is a little known work among secular persons. It's called the Holy Bible and is chock full of knowledge, inspirational messages, predictions and warnings, and very specific descriptions of the person who will lead the bloodiest assault upon God's people in history.

An old Chinese curse states 'may you live in interesting times.' Anyone who doubts that we do indeed live in such times just isn't paying attention.

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

I thought modern evangelicals were assimilated into the "kill kill" mentality so prevalent among neo-cons!

They must feel a bit betrayed that the dog they cheer for is growling at them. But, it's the natural progression of what they were pushing for.

I wonder why they feel evangelicals are a threat ?

The only thing I can think of is that if a one world government with an AC type leader was to come ..... half the US population and half the US military would refuse to obey or bow down or salute.

As a matter of fact .... if not for the Christians , the world would have united under an AC type years ago.

Military dictator leaders hate it when half their own countries population is the enemy.

That is why they always disarm the citizens first

With warning lists like that adding fundamental Christianity and orthodox Jews to the real radical threats of Islamic factions and the KKK, it should be pretty easy to fathom just where such a list is coming from.

A police chief in Kansas received such a propaganda list from home land security that also had returning veterans from Iraq added to it. That police chief made a public outcry about that propaganda list, and the head of home land security had to face a congressional hearing about it. Makes sense too, since many in U.S. law enforcement just happen to be made up of a lot of U.S. military veterans that served their country in war.

What that working is revealing is that there is a rift within some federal agencies between true American public servants and anti-American infiltrators. Most likely they are communist-socialist athiests, for it's many in that group that hates both Christians and Jews, and has also had to deal with Islamic radicals in ex-Soviet states like Chechnya.
