(A previous thread's poll expired; and maybe its thread has run its course, although there were interesting discussions about tattoos.)

So a fresh thread from a new perspective.

This is an interesting link:

5 Christian Tattoo Artists Talk About Their Ministry

So do you think that for more Christians to train and work as tattoo artists is a positive development? (linked as it is with the potentials of faith based tattoo designs.)

I am adding a poll. (One of the poll option is about whether it's positive for more Christian women to train and work as tattoo artists.)

Comments, ppl?

PS: I see that someone is still posting on a thread where the poll has expired; this thread's new poll should last until December.

I believe what he’s obsessed with is his freedom and your freedom to serve God
Quite apart from the fact that the possibilities of the role of giving ink merely complement the widely wished for receiving of ink:

...it's also relevant to the huge potential of faith based ink that's effective in witness, isn't it?

I don't think getting a tattoo is a sin.

I also don't understand why anyone would want to put tattoos all over their body.
The bible does teach us that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.

It's one thing to get a little thing here or there...
but have you seen what persons are doing to their body?
It's pretty horrible.

Do you need images? There are plenty.

I think you referred to a beach visit recently.

Some tattoos might be big, but I'm sure others would be little.

A faith based one doesn't have to be big...(although I guess it could be in the artists' - Christian or otherwise - interests for the bigger ones to be favored...:) )

It's not so much the size as the having them all over the body.
Is this disrespect for the body?
That's an interesting question.

I think smoking is disrespect for the body although I don't think it's a sin and I don't judge anyone that smokes...I have my own sins to worry about.

What about liquor?
Is it the same as tattooing?

My image means that , yes , you just MIGHT BE a little obsessed?
Do you have tatoos?
Many?
Ppl do talk about things being addictive; I guess the answer to that sort of question would be that there are indeed bad addictions but also more benign ones...

(The design I got faded...)

Oh so your observations from the beach visit were more about their extent rather than the size of individual designs.

Yes, their extent - multiples - do indeed show how widespread and wished for it is these days among the youngsters especially.
