Hello, it would actually be easier if anyone can problem solve this information for me. I'll try to remember everything I can and see if anyone else has some real information. Dwight Eisenhower took religion into office and acted the part of a zealot. However, he only chose a denomination in office as a Presbyterian since his wife was a Presbyterian? Probably mirroring Abraham Lincoln somewhat? Lincoln married a southern belle aristocrat with Mary Todd Lincoln, we can guess politically. Dwight Eisenhower had some of the earliest meetings with MLK Jr. I think and was elected as a Northerner Republican, the last of that line, so far. He did not win in most Deep South states. He extended the international highway system. He desegregated schools in Arkansas with help from National Guard. He added religious overtone to the Pledge of Allegiance as well as the slogan "in god we Trust" to many notes and currency. As for background, he was the supreme Commander for the Allied force in Europe. In office, he oversaw Korean War politics and Cold War politics. His prayer was for "all citizens at home and abroad".

We could Possibly believe that United States Presbyterians, not being on the national political stage, do not hold all of Eisenhower's inherited views. Or maybe, Eisenhower really did Lead a New Reformation Rebirth as is their language, whatever that is, put in Latin something off the top of your head like scholarship.

Back on topic, so Judges have ruled on this subject, that I guess you can have the word "God" just plastered in front of your face in every corner of your life by federal Government, But, its sort of decorative, or non-enforceable, or maybe you'd like to change the name of Allah to God, I'm not sure.

Eisenhower wanted religious Leadership in America. He clearly is Leading somewhere Religiously, himself. Most Eisenhower quotes deal with Freedom as universal values. He was asked questions about constitutionality, specifically responding to a reporter about the 1st amendment, and it wasn't infringed, freedom of religion and speech. I suppose constitutionality that as some sort of side-hobby, sure, Presidents could In-Office create a United Presbyterian Church denomination as a side project, I mean anybody can do that, it doesn't conflict with separation of Church and State that a President personally rearranges something And that this same zeal would create government top-down messages.

Oh that is Hilarious. I was playing Victoria 2 as the Confederate States of America, and you could buy one special upgrade, like a mechanic for the CSA, you could get Military Industrial Complex, it gets more hilarious as time goes by, personally.

I doubt there's going to be a religion and the industry that fuels it with greedy, selfish interests any time soon, they got a membership problem over with the Presbyterians. Well they really do have this 'freedom' and 'healing' message all darn day from top-down.

I got a question, this all is basically saying we're all less racist now? +2 nationalism of American heritage citizens -3 international Presbyterian sovereignty, pretty much something like that.

So here's a good article and I've only been around the internet hearing little snippets as good as this article. I like this History channel article.

And I don't care what it is - Wikipedia

He strikes me as a direct Unionist extender, didn't Abraham Lincoln's 2nd inaugural say "We're all praying to the same God". Didn't Abraham Lincoln find new meaning and expounding in "All Men Were Created Equal", so much so, that Jefferson Davis's secession went at length to say, that same document included that we Defended Slavery against the British, so the document could Only have been interpreted as the Divine Birth of Kings and access of politics.

I guess you can have the word "God" just plastered in front of your face in every corner of your life by federal Government,

Sure.

But, its sort of decorative, or non-enforceable,

It is upholding, that this Nation was established on Biblical Standards and Principles, and the ideals of Republic forms of goverments; that the Founders Believed in a Higher Power than mankind and that the governed should have the power to designate their own god, as their God.

or maybe you'd like to change the name of Allah to God, I'm not sure.

The Term "god" is a TITLE.
Regardless of the native language...
Arabic (allah); Spanish (dios); Chinese (shen); Greek (theos); English (god)....

It is Individuals who determine WHO A god is to them, and IF such god is a Supreme Supernatual Spiritual God to them ... or not.

America is primarily an English speaking Nation, and established with regards that there IS a Higher Power, and individuals can choose individually WHOM is their "god".

Many in America, from America's Establishment; have elected to Choose as their God; Thee Biblical Lord God Almighty; and without Fear, Shame or Oppression freely Express their Belief.

Glory to Thee Lord God Almighty,
Taken

The Feared old World Establishment, practiced by all of them, such as, legal punishment if you do Not arrive at Church, I can make out differences. Still, for the otherwise modern and liberal of the country to have that "God" all the time, surprising that we don't feel categorized.

You can see how most remaining Roman Catholics are from the "Deus" Latin school. Always is kind of funny. what anglo-german started going Gott or whatever. You said Spanish dios, and French Dieu and Italian Dio.

Mostly a very good explanation of the basic Principle. I'm sorry that my and most people's default is hyper-criticism. If Eisenhower is leading All-Inclusive-Religion side against the Communism side, and we all believe in big daddy, great OK. Sadly reminds me of the People's Temple folks, do you remember that, and putting Socialism with the People's Temple, what a great way to form a persecution syndrome, end up in Brazil with Jim Jones, and form the hugest US civilian disaster. Now people go, what was that?

Christianity is distinct from Capitalism though, what a strange marriage! You might like I've been looking into how the hierarchy of Church and Emperor all fell at the same time in Russia to Communism around 1913. This Play Rite Of Spring says so many things at once. See Christians can generally appreciate each other's arts and its a play in France talking about how Communism returns the Russians to their Spring superstition in a little tribe east of Poland.

Where is true communism? Well it is about the people yet doesn't care about people? It is anti-racist and racist? Pol Pot and Cambodia is so crazy. They got rid of All Money. They emptied the cities and put everyone in farming collectives. They taught people against all family ties. Many people were mass executed. Its actually racist where the French protected minority tribes in Cambodia and they had a race-purge for Cambodians. Where had we all decided Communism has answers? Wasn't that all real communism? That was probably all true Communism in a small country. You get shot for wearing glasses and sticking out or being smart. Well hey I got a question, the Communists emptied all the buddhist monks out on the street for living quarters, Buddhists don't have a God, how about that?! If he isn't just some tired old, political party flipping northern Republican, Dixiecrat creating, Lincoln advantage-taker, then where is a Buddhist's Trust that's Not in God who is anti-communist?

I think President Eisenhower's mother belonged to what became the Jehovah's Witnesses, as they are called. Maybe he thought he wou;dn't give publicity to them by publicly joining them, I don't know.

Hey thanks farouk. Welcome... That's an interesting perspective.Did you ever hear most Anglicans fled across the sea during the American Revolution, not that anybody's there to get them, they just did. Now its 1 to 100 with the spirit-casters, well that's why he's not praying to the Archbishop for help, what do people think George Washington's religion is, the commander of revolutionary forces? Hey guys I think we can Deduce this stuff!
YW.

I hadn't heard that.

Some of the original United Empire Loyalists up here in Canada were Anglican. But up here the Anglican church doesn't play the same sort of role as it does it England.

Oh ya! Canadian money has the Queen on it! I don't know Canadian politics, is that a Canadian "United Empire" term? Ya why is there a United Church of Canada just like there's a Uniting Church of Australia? Is that your discussion? Wait I understand, because, they have separate Country Identities in recent times with the Australianns and Canadians, I'm aware of that, obviously.

Anyway how far it all came, that Churchill wanted to pull FDR into war by being two singing Anglicans on that HMS Navy boat service, to some campaign with Eisenhower to change religion.

FDR and Churchill may have sung from the same hymn-sheet, indeed. But their revulsion to Hitler and the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor had a lot to do with US-British collaboration in WW2.

What did the Japanese attackers broadcast during the attack? Hawaiian music. What would Hawaii be doing under Japan? Labor, underground mines, comfort women, bowing for every Japanese soldier as representatives of an Emperor of a Shinto religion. Well ya, whereas Churchill sees Empire as some sort of, nonnegotiable, above everything entity, without negotiations, and FDR said Republics do negotiate, what a bunch of political talk. So you think the Empire's Homeland would have fallen except for a Japanese attack?
Eisenhower was working during the war, by the way. Was the US Civil War gentle in comparison, because of Americans' shared political backgrounds, or shared ties, or an overt Christian competition? The codes of war at the time? Attempts at persuasion? The sole hatred of Robert E Lee toward surrender was guerilla warfare and an honest Christian peace. Confederates pulled diplomacy from Christian circles, British handed All technology almost freely from Spies within British government directly to Japan, like aircraft carriers. You couldn't rub two Christians together in Japan, to make a wedding, what a crazy thing they all did, the political sort of people. What would conquerors in Christ like John Knox's claymore, Andrew Jackson's saber, Stonewall Jackson's … saber... without a scabbard..., and Woodrow WIlson's League of Nations, be doing with Eisenhower's liberty-Japan surrender and handing Japanese-Korean government to Park Chunghee? We should get Koreans look after Japan. It doesn't matter North or South Korea they say why is America just like the Japanese? Korea>Japan. #1. fighting.
I eat at Korean places free-style. I order the Francesca Donner, the size of her blue-house. wow... Korea is a great place...? Where is the Heaven? Well why don't we go there? True Words Empress Myeungsung, because boats to America are way too expensive for us. Wise words. Ahn Changho preferred the King's court, Eisenhower has to get rid of all King's lands after the war for Democracy! etc! etc!

There has Never been for me Any frivolous attitudes or Gain about Christian identified peoples, or who do so only that way, because we Should identify Christianity historically with moral character, puritan living, and determination, and somber determinations. Far more somber than fits any time fiddling with the internet. So we can see how Eisenhower has erased above and beyond admirable qualities of a Presbyterian body, that may be bragged or remarked upon by adherents, the Auld Lang Syne quality, the creedal dedications, the biblical accuracy, an international admirable quality, is localized and regionalized into something resembling no dedications at all in public discussions. Man doesn't make choices about the virtues and commands of the standards of religion. Not everything is a church hop. Its not all a self-driven religious experience like many want to Appear to be having like out here. This is America, people name and practice their religion from overseas freely at work, which are religions that can produce studious results, internationally known benefits of performance, and the public can acknowledge specific good works with no fault to people involved. People attend denomination Universities or work for Religions. Those are all equal opportunities to participate in not reflecting on any participant as a crazy person when no others are presented. I could have no opinion, I sure don't have any Pressure about religion to my name. Eisenhower's probably made an environment around Presbyterianism to discredit strict behavior. I haven't been linked Ever to a Hobby in religion, or a self-motivation in religion. I haven't ever gone off schedule in 10 years in anything. However! Public Universities will Scrutinize and Categorize any behavior falsely that occurs in the operation of any affiliated studygroups, and they wouldn't prosecute conversations of a character of non-affiliated studygroups, this is Totally sure of the public university system, and Eisenhower and his integrations probably contribute. It changes the Spirit of what is going on, if theres 200 dollars on it, and people tell You what it means, or real estate is Put upon it without a single attitude, behavior, or problem, and people will stop to Smear what it means, with their time.
