Any input on any of these verses?

Acts 13:32-34
[32] And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, [33] God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. [34] And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

What does it mean “...now no more to return to corruption...”?

Acts 13:34-37
[34] And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. [35] Wherefore he saith also in another psalm , Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. [36] For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: [37] But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

2 Corinthians 10:6
[6] And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

doesn’t sound like future tense but “...when your obedience is fulfilled.” as in today.

Galatians 5:14-15
[14] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [15] But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.—so it is possible to bite and devour another and both are possibly consumed(devoured, eaten, swallowed up in death?”

Galatians 5:16
[16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

34Since He raised Him from the dead, never to return to decay

might be a clearer way to put it? Iow Jesus did not die and get buried in a big pyramid with all the trappings for Death, More Abundantly, is what i'm reading

In all his missionary journeys Paul visited all the Jewish synagogues of the Roman Empire to preach the Gospel. And this was a part of the Gospel message to those in the synagogue at Antioch in Pisidia.

The core of the Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. And that is what Paul was proclaiming here. But because he was addressing a Jewish audience who were familiar with the OT Scriptures, he was reminding them that the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ had already been prophesied in the Tanakh.

He also compared David (the ancestor of Jesus) with Christ, in that David died and his body experienced decay and dissolution (*corruption*), whereas the body of Christ did not experience this (because He is the only begotten Son of God). So “...now no more to return to corruption...” simply means that the resurrected body of Christ would never again experience death, nor face decay, since it was now a spiritual, immortal, and glorified body. The key verses however are these:

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

These Jews needed to understand -- like all Jews -- that they could never be justified through Torah observance. All must be justified by grace through faith in Christ alone and His finished work of redemption.

2 Corinthians 10:6
[6] And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

doesn’t sound like future tense but “...when your obedience is fulfilled.” as in today.
Does not the immediately preceding verse explain it?

"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled." II Cor 10:5-6

The fulfillment of our obedience is completed when our every thought is brought in captivity. The only way it will all be brought into captivity is by our complete surrender. Remember the lesson of the reins which God gave to every man? People call it "free will" but it amounts effectively to only two choices: To lead ourselves [retaining our own reins] or to let God lead us [giving the reins to Him for every pertinent decision]. This is what Jesus did here:

"And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt" Matt 26:39

Then your other verse speaks to the accomplishment of this captivity of obedience:

Galatians 5:16
[16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

People must surrender to the Spirit every time they are tempted by the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and/or the pride of life [I John 2:16]. This surrender sets them to walking in the Spirit. When they quench the Holy Spirit they go ahead following their own will and fulfilling the ways of the flesh.

God wants us to have the mastery over ourselves, but He cannot help us without our consent and cooperation. Without Him we can do nothing...but with God all things are possible, even holiness.

A year or so ago I would have told you, it is not so regarding holiness. But it is possible. maybe the question remains: what does holiness mean to a person? Or righteousness? Is it being under the mosaic Law and “trying to be good”. I came across these verses while reading all the times the word says a thing was done so that the word spoken by the prophets would be fulfilled. “Fulfilled”...with certainty.

Acts 13:29-30
[29] And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. [30] But God raised him from the dead:

Romans 8:4
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
