Hi there!

So this is just an observation about Grace, basically. The observation is this: "once you have the Grace, the work is easier". Jesus said "My yoke is easy". He did not say "once you believe, the work will be harder"! Jesus does not force us to work, but if you have been forgiven (the way you have) and have received the Grace of God by which you were forgiven, how can you refuse the work? How can you say "it's still too hard"?

Now, you might have reasons for your objection to work - no one wants to work straight away (Jesus Himself said, whoever it is, they count the cost first) - that's fine, but then ceasing to eat will be easy. It's not like Jesus says "you must work at these and these and these times". If you are lead to work, great; if you are led to go without, equally great! The important thing to note is: everyone notes how much easier the work has gotten. It's unforgettable Grace. It's so unforgettable, that for the rest of your life, you will be happy you know how much easier the work has gotten.

Now, does this mean our work is perfect? No. But it is a matter of light. He who works in the light, does a better quality job - because he can see how he is working. That's something to get excited about! There is power in this then, because what you know in the light, you can show others in the light - and they will understand the power of Grace as you do. I mean this is essentially what the whole of the Holy Trinity do, they draw on the easiness of the work the others with them make easy. The Father makes the Son's work easy, the Son makes the Holy Spirit's work easy and the Holy Spirit makes the Father's work easy. You could go in to a lot of detail about this!

The real thing to pray for, is that your work capture or reveal "imagination". An imagination at work, creates true reckoning. If you have this prayer, then not only will your works be easy, but they will affect how the works of others work - people will start to work the way you do. This is praise to God and a reason to thank the Holy Spirit. "Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on, for their works will follow after them" Revelation (from memory). In context here, meaning: the easiness of your works, will follow after you (you will never have to fear work being too hard again - thank God for this!).

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.

Grace is nothing more than a free gift. And that free gift is our access back to the tree of life (Jesus) which Adam caused us to lose by disobeying God. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5: 12) But to maintain your grace you must keep the law. (1John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Now we have just read the biblical definition of sin, the transgression (breaking) of the law (commandments.) It doesn’t matter what you or I think sin is, it’s what God says sin is that counts.

esus brought grace when he came in the flesh, but example of grace was in the days of Noah. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6:8), And Noah and his family was saved. Not save from eternal life, but saved from the flood. This is why Jesus had to come. Paul says in Hebrews 9: 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 26 for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Now Paul said in (Rom. 3:23-25) (v.23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (v.24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

(v.25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

So the bible tells you to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2 :36-38). And by doing so you come up under his precious blood and then you are saved from your sins that are past, not present or future sins but for sins that are past. We were all locked under death by Adam’s sin, even the second death, which is the lake of fire. But when Jesus became (he was God in the beginning) man and died for the sins of the world, he gave us access back to the tree of life (himself) which Adam had caused us to lose. That’s what grace is, our free gift our access back to the tree of life but that’s another lesson for another time.

Yes, but the gift comes wrapped - you have to work to unpack the gift!

"How much more will your Father give the Holy Spirit, to those that ask Him?" (Gospels from memory).

I'm talking about getting more of the Holy Spirit, not discussing the Terms and Conditions of allowable Salvation.

Paul said in (Gal. 6:) (v.3) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. (v.4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

The book says let every man prove his own work, and if your work is good then you will rejoice in it. (v.5) For every man shall bear his own burden. That’s right; every man must bear his own burden. You mean you thought that all you had to do was confess the name of Jesus and that was it? Brothers and sisters you must work to get salvation. (v.7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. God is not to be played with. Whatsoever you plant, that’s what you are going to reap. Be it good works unto eternal life, or evil works unto eternal damnation. The choice is yours, and your works belong to you.

He said "my yoke is easy", but it's still a yoke. "my burden is light," but it's still a burden.
