4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. - Ephesians 4:4-6.
The only division in Christianity is what men make it out to be. God is not the author of confusion! have you read that. He is not the one that has all the denominations confused to which one is right. That is what men do - men in themselves have a thing to be right. The best scripture for that is;
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. - Romans 3:4.
So when we feel like we have it right and all figured out - I have it fixed in me and they should conform - I'm right and what I believe about a denomination and it's theology is right, and so on - your still a lier according to scripture - because truth is a person and the person only. Not what I believe!
That is how we are drawn to others that believe what I believe. So our text verse says there is but "one." Now to those that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ there is salvation, and what you build on that salvation is going to be your out working in this world. So point being to all the other denominations that get judged based on what they have believed ..after salvation. After salvation is key - what you believe matters as far as you coming to life ..or coming into life and understanding ..but at that point what you believe is not going to matter to no one but you. And your father of coarse because that is how he will lead you in the scriptures - by your understanding. You ever wonder why he is always trying to change my understanding - because that is how he is leading you. He is leading you to something and we have no idea it even exists. Not in the package we look for.
So our father has born again believers in all denominations. He has birthed children in every situation in this world, and if we do not look at what scripture has to say about it - we miss a great blessing by seeing Christ in other believers. Not judged based on what they believe - but in whom they have believed!
