I have attended and visited many denominational churches and have talked many pastors and have listened to their sermons. It seems that most churchgoers parrot their pastors' denominational theologies and opinions instead of studying and reading the Bible by themselves. They seem to believe by doing so they are being faithful and obedient to Jesus.hitomi

How very true JoyfulI have found the same thing that men would rather follow man's words mens traditions then put the work into studying for themselves. and worse even many that do try to study are so brainwashed and steeped in men's false teachings they refuse to believe what is written/or not written even when its right in front of their face. There is more to Gods word than they have been told. It is no wonder God tells us that our pastors and ministers (shepherd's) will be among the first the first judged as they have lead his children (sheep)astray. The sheaperds of today with thier once saved always saved, rapture doctrine ect are leading thier sheep right into the wolfs(antichrists) mouth.

Blind leading the blind. That's what happens when we become professional pastors. Bottom line is that churches are just business to get people to join their denominations and churches. Their silent agreement is that they don't question each other and if you do you will be shunned. In JW(Jehovah's Witnesses), they disfellowship.hitomi

I agree with both of you. Many people want us to join that church so bad. Give me a Sword anyday, not some man-made tradition.Lovest thou in Christ Jesus (Yahshua) our Lord and Saviour.

Ha ha ha, yes that's why Organised Religion has always been popular, because people like to let it do their thinking for them..

But running with the herd won't do anybody a bit of good if they're all going up the spout together like lemmings..Salvation is a personal thing, we have to work it out for ourselves individually -Jesus said - "The work God requires is to believe in the one he has sent" (John 6:28-29 ) "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12)
