James 1:4 (NKJV)
But let patience have [its] perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Patience, being the ability to rest in that which one knows to be true… This ability is put forth as that which works perfection in one, it being, because patience grows from the foundation of one’s faith that is sure… Therefore, is that which grows from it eternal, unshakable, never to change, being based in the strongest thing in all creation, that being, Christ’s death, before which all things must bow… Seeing then it is Christ’s death on the cross that is the truth given to man that that truth might be the foundation of all things from God…. For in the OT the saints of old looked forward to the sacrifice of the Life, we look back to it as an already accomplished task…. Faith in this task brings substance to that task for the real experiencing of that Life……
The death of Christ on the cross being real, the faith that joins itself to Christ’s death is the faith that patience grows from and works all the perfection that needs to be worked …. The faith that sees itself in Christ death, is the foundation that grows Christ in one now, and the glory of one in the next… For this faith is that faith given to man to bring all of the salvation brought forth by Christ’s death to a living reality in life… Because Jesus did die, therefore the one that will put all of their, hopes, dreams, longing, desires, one’s very life, into being joined in this death, will be the blessed among the blessed, for that one elevates Christ’s death above all…. For the looking off to this foundation is a looking off to the foundation of one’s new creation in God… The new creation being the only thing of value in the next, so it is in this…
Be blessed in keeping Christ’s death as the object of one’s life and seeing how patience does its perfect work…..
@Not me I think the patience also and stedfastness of 1 Cor. 15.58 follows from resting completely in the victory of 1 Cor. 15.57. :)
