5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: - 2 Timothy 2:5-8.

You are going to have to read these verses close. Paul is giving very sound instruction on his Epistles. First strive lawfully, and you will have to live what you say. Consider what Paul has to say, and what, the lord give you understanding in all things! Most of what is said and done in religion has no foundation and cannot be lived. It fails because it feeds the flesh. To try to do anything in yourself - is a set up for failure everytime, and that repeated. That is what religion exsists of - flesh failing again and again...over and over. Has nothing to do with a birthing and life. No cross.. at least none you can see in a day to day hour by hour life for God.
My understanding is the Lord does not back nonsense. There is plenty around but it has no backing from the Lord. It is nothing..you can hear it and it seems like a joke to you..but to others it's like hearing from heaven. Quite a dichotomy.

So what does Paul's gospel do? It cuts through the nonsense of not knowing.
Paul's gospel points out to believers how they got in Christ, and Christ in them. To say that Paul had the gospel - is not to say no other gospel exists. To say Paul's gospel was given by God to Paul to give to the new creation of God, is a correct understanding of the way scripture is put together and reads.

There are many gospel's in the bible; We could call Adam's message of not eating from the tree a gospel. But Noah had a gospel - Abraham had a gospel - Moses had a gospel. Messages - but messages that came from God to man. In our case when Jesus walked this earth he was doing what I'll call two fold for now.

Two fold;
First - Jesus came as the Messiah to the kingdom of Israel. The promises of God being fulfilled to Israel an earthly people and they rejected him. Everything that was promised Israel he was going to fulfill. And he will fulfill his promise's to Israel, but it will be in the millennial rein now.

Second - Jesus would be the Savior of the world. Hallelujah too the Lord. Jesus Christ by his shed blood would fulfill the ultimate plan of God. Israel is not the ultimate plan of God - the born again are the ultimate plan of God. Those that are in Christ are the fulfillment of the plan of God before the foundation of the world. Birthing His Own children by Christ in them - is the ultimate plan of God.

- Israel is an earthly people chosen by God after the foundation of the world. It is that simple in scripture!
- The born again.. the church.. the birthed of God.. the ecclesia.. the sons of God.. the people of God..the chosen of God..
are chosen before the foundations of the world to be in Christ. Believers should look at that long and hard. It is that simple in scripture.

So when Jesus was dealing with Israel he dealt with them under law because Israel was under law. Under law is probably not the best way to say it, but he dealt with them by Moses law. That is all that existed at the time for Israel, or the world for that matter. Jesus had not established a gospel - he was saying things and planting things and giving parables but he dealt with Israel by Moses law. When they came to him to snare him..he plainly said to them - What does Moses law say! Thats interesting but really don't mean much in religion. Especially since most of what they say has to do with Moses law anyway.
