People: The positives and the negatives

I was watching the parade celebrating the Army's 250 years. It was very inspiring, with beautiful fireworks over Washington DC and lots of good music. The Army Chorus sang God Bless America beautifully.

The crowd at the parade was happy and patriotic. The Armed Forces were being honored for serving our country.

Meanwhile, the ones who are protesting were against the parade and yesterday again turned to violence. We've had a curfew in downtown Los Angeles for some days already because of the violence and looting. Curfew will continue for a few more days.

I was just noticing the contrast between the two groups. Positive people celebrating others....and negative people fighting, doing graffiti and trying to injure the police.

Was this the first parade of its kind? What was the reason for it? Looks a bit like Trump was copying Putin or the UK Trouping the Colour which was also yesterday.

The parade was celebrating our Army's birthday yesterday of 250 years.

It was not the first military parade in Washington DC.
