Where did you learn this?A divine mind would object to animal sacrifice..
Because it makes sense to me. The idea that the creator of the cosmos requires or desires animal sacrifice seems to ridiculous to me.Then why do you proclaim it?
Do you think it would have been more accurate for you to say, "I would think a divine mind would object to animal sacrifice"?Because it makes sense to me. The idea that the creator of the cosmos requires or desires animal sacrifice seems to ridiculous to me.
Perhaps.Do you think it would have been more accurate for you to say, "I would think a divine mind would object to animal sacrifice"?
Do you see the value in the difference between that statement and what you had said about it?
Yeah I'm used to agnostics being more logical and careful with the statements they make. You threw me off there with how loosely you were willing to make declarative statements with such lack of authority on the matter.Perhaps.

Hi 2bme,It's so strange
When a feeling
I have about you
Starts feeling back
As if you'd be here
In the same place
I'd be at
As if you can see
My mood
And my temperature
Then react naturally
As anyone would
In a physical space
In time
But I'm all alone
At the time
And I'm feeling
Everything
As if you'd be
Laying beside me.
I'll re-post something here later. Maybe.Hi 2bme,
So we are both in Australia. I was born in Melbourne but am now in the country up near the Murray River.
Interesting poem - or freewheeling thoughts. We do desire someone to know us deeply, our thoughts and emotions, But that is not really possible. Perhaps some things for we are all human and have experienced good and bad in this life - joys (perhaps) pain and suffering, (for sure) being criticized, being rejected, feeling not good enough, (whose list?) pretty enough, strong enough, intelligent enough etc etc.
The mind continually goes down the `rabbit holes` and we can be left exhausted and bitter. Why do others seem to have better lives, etc. But do they really? Or are they just covering it all up. Look around you and see all the lonely people, where do they all come from....(Simon and Art Garfunkle) (sp?)
Just millions and millions of burdened people like rats in the cage going round and round, not knowing why but trying to go faster. In the West we can see what is coming by looking at Japan. It used to be the model nation but now men in suits come off the subway and collapse on the station from too many hours at work or trying to please the boss by keeping up with him, drinking. Go on utube and hear of the hundreds of thousands that go missing every year. They just drop out of society because they can`t keep up. And the West is heading that way.
